  Have had BUKA multiple times in the past food was great however on October 3rd I placed an order online for pickup went to pick it up and they were closed .Tried contacting the owner multiple times never got an answer I understand things happen but how are you not willing to refund me for food I never received ? Edit Post- I was refunded thank you . Look forward to ordering again

  As a Trinidadian I absolutely loveee this food from this restaurant. They're always consistent, hands down the best Nigerian food I ate. They're always very accommodating when indecisive of what I want to try.

  $12 dollars for truly terrible puff puff. I’m so upset. The dough is uncooked and soo much oil it’s ridiculous. They seem like good people but the puff puff is truly disgraceful

  I ordered a Goat Okra soup and fufu (pounded yams). I had to stop eating after my first two bites, wash my hands and call the restaurant. The food was soo good I just had to let them know how well portioned how flavorful and mouth watering well seasoned the food tasted. Double shout out to the chef for cooking with such love. I’m from Trinidad, my best friend whom recommended this place to me is Haitian. We know GOOD food… The meat? Not tough AT ALL, very tender.. The bones literally slipped right out. The fufu was very tasty, it was my first time to try the fufu. Overall just 10 across the board. Give them a try! It has definitely has gotten my stamp of approval <3

  Very disappointing experience. I paid $27 for Amala and another $21.78 for pepper soup, which I found extremely overpriced for the portion $48.78 food and overall experience. I was also overcharged, which made the situation even more frustrating. What bothered me most was the way one of the women attending to me spoke rudely in Yoruba, apparently assuming I couldn’t understand what she was saying. I understood everything, and that was very disrespectful and unprofessional. Customers deserve to be treated with respect, regardless of the language they speak. At these prices, I expected better food, fair billing, and much better customer service. I would not recommend this experience based on my visit. $48.78
