I had a terrible experience today, July 12, 2026, at the Bojangles on Church Avenue in Brooklyn. I placed my order at the drive-thru, and when I tried to pay with my card, I was told to come inside. Instead of helping me, the employee repeatedly declined my payment and acted like the situation was funny. It was embarrassing and very unprofessional.
Good customer service means treating people with respect, especially when there's a problem. The employee's attitude was rude and disrespectful, and it made me feel like my concerns didn't matter. Management should provide better customer service training and make sure employees treat customers with courtesy and professionalism. I won't be returning after this experience.

The food is da bombz! The biscuits are the best I've tasted from any restaurant. Their breakfast sandwiches are bulky. Their chicken sandwiches are flavorful and have a bit of a kick to them and are superb! They also take EBT. You will pay more to get your meals from them than their competitors, but in my opinion, the food is worth it. Breakfast is sold all day. They close at 1 am I think.
I had high hopes for bojangles in nyc . I grew up in nyc and it’s a staple ! Firstly not having the entire menu was an awful choice ! U have cheapened the brand. Secondly the chicken biscuits while not as good as the ones in nyc were decent. Till recently the quality has shifted immensely! The chicken didn’t even taste like real chicken. And the sides ! My god ! The dirty rice , usually my favorite, taste like instant bag rice. And the Mac and cheese is god awful . The famous sweet tea is so dry tasting ! I say get rid of the location until yall can come back correctly! And with the full menu!
First time at Bojanges. I used the drive through and service was fast and friendly. I ordered at the sign, paid at the window & then a worker brought the food to my car. The French fries were good; I got them with medium spice and used some ketchup. The chicken had a similar texture to Popeyes so I put hot sauce & ketchup on the sandwich but I was surprised to find out how juicy and well-spiced the meat was. The hot sauce gave it a kick but the ketchup was unnecessary. I also ordered the Tropicana Fruit Punch which was pretty average and didnt have the bold, fruity flavor I was hoping for. All in all, I was pleasantly surprised by Bojangles and if you are a fan of chicken sandwiches I strongly suggest giving them a go.

Food is acceptable, though I detect some BS in their menu and marketing.
Staff seems preoccupied with everything else accept helping customers.
The machine failed to print my receipt and when I asked one staff member for help she acknowledged my request then ignored me. The other staff member gave me the "GRILL SLIP" and said here's your receipt. When I explained that it is not a receipt she explained the price of the item to me. I mentioned that the receipt machine needs to be repaired and she didn't know how to respond. I also noticed that the receipt machine was separate from the actual ordering screen menu and so I was able to open the receipt machine without any tools (there's a small lever that you push to release the entire receipt paper roll).
Overall the atmosphere was immaculate and quiet for a Thursday morning at 11:29:19am however I feel their interior design and ergonomic layout could use some improvements. I also noticed the staff packaging "TO GO" meals and using regular packaging tape to seal the tops of paper bags, not small stickers like Wendy's or McDonald's. This was a huge red flag and a sign of inconvenience.
In addition, I found that there were numerous members of staff, sitting, walking, talking, idling, and twiddling their thumbs, not doing a damn thing. Perhaps it was because they were patiently awaiting the lunch hour rush. IDK and IDC but it appears to the untrained eye that Bojangles is in the business of wasting time and money.
Lastly, I enjoyed the sandwich in the blistering hot sun which I found quite delicious.
