The tilapia was not nice and the attieke was hard. However is good here and the staff are professional.

I wish I could give them a zero star. I order 2 dibi with atticke and plantain. The plantain was so hard, the onion on the dibi had a bad smell to it and the dibi was really bad as well. I spend 80 dollars on a food that went in the trash is not like I order when they where closing, I ordered around 1pm when the open at 12 moon

Yopcity has great service and an amazing atmosphere. The food is top tier, real Ivorian cuisine with the authentic taste of the motherland. The service was excellent, I was served by a lady called Madina if I’m not mistaken. Great lady tbh.
As someone originally from Côte d'Ivoire, I wanted to introduce some friends to the food I grew up with, and Yopcity did not disappoint. I've been there twice now, and each visit has been excellent. The food, atmosphere, and overall ambience feel authentic and truly capture the spirit of Ivorian cuisine.
I had the delicious jollof rice, attiéké, grilled fish, and lamb, and every dish was full of incredible flavor with just the right amount of spice. Everything tasted fresh, well-seasoned, and reminded me of home.
The staff were also warm, friendly, kind, and gracious, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. If you're looking for authentic Ivorian food in the Bronx, this is the place to go. I'll definitely be back!
I love African food particularly West African. I have been wanting to try this place since it pop up on my social medial feed. Having been raised in Harlem and the Bronx I was very familiar with the area, although I have been in CT for passer 10 years. I made the trip down with my husband just for this place! The food was excellent large portions and flavorful. Hanan our waitress also wonderful. Bright beautiful smile and very knowledgeable about the menu. I hope this place is around for years to come. African restaurant in the middle of Little Italy-, I respect it!!
