  I would like to start by saying, I've been a loyal stop & shop customer for over 30+ years. Throughout this time I've received nothing but exceptional customer service & a very nice helpful staff at all stores. I hope this review reaches ROGER WHEELER , SUSAN SANVILLE & MANAGEMENT at the Bartow Ave Stop & Shop location. My experiences at the deli at this location was always pleasant & quick. Lately I've been treated rudely by one of the new deli employees by the name tag "Indigo" , he uses profanity in every word spoken & seems to be annoyed when he has to stop his profanity laced conversation to tend to customers. The latest incident was the last straw with me & this is when he was extremely disrespectful & rude to me in front of my grandchildren. Calling me the "B" word under his breath saying "B***h you get what I give you" , when I asked for my low sodium ham to be sliced more thinly. I couldn't believe my ears & just canceled my order after feeling embarrassed & belittled by this employee. Stop & Shop, are these the people that you have representing your company? This is not my first encounter with this young man named "Indigo" at this deli. All times has just been down right disappointing & just a feeling that a loyal customer should not be feeling. I never leave bad reviews, but this needs to be brought to the attention of the managerial staff at this particular location or the higher ups at Human Resources. This type of customer service & treatment is totally unacceptable, especially to the elderly folks like myself who depend on these establishments to survive. I will be following up to ensure management knows the type of behavior & lack of etiquette that is being displayed & this Bartow Ave Deli location by this one particular employee. Next I will record him & take it to the local news if the situation persists.

  rude n terrible customer service,they don’t even listen to you and ignore you, don’t go to this store, the discounts don’t even work they do that to make you pay extra, the workers don’t even do their job? I went to go ask about a discount for the 5 for 5 dollars diet cola and I asked 2 workers and they both ignored me, Don’t go to this place and it’s overpriced

  No more 5⭐️ from me for Stop and Shop. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. But each time its a let down. They have nice sales that lure customers to buy me buy me. You get to register. Pay for goods. Get home only to realize you got taken. $3.88 watermelon ($11.99 on receipt once home. No SKU#/tag on watermelon. No seeds. How is the ring up price possible with no tag?). Same thing with bagged spinach. 2/$6 sale. One $3.49. Organic $5.49. I rarely buy Organic anything there because it goes bad quickly. Anyway. The receipt at home shows $5.49 spinach. It was slimy. Expiration date wasnt close to expiring. Customer service said bring receipt next time. Next time was other day July 8 2026. No refund. No go get something to match what cash register did. No sorry. Just an oh well. I did Shop. But no where near the amount of $$$ I usually spend. Tired of complaining. Seems like bad service, no manners, and non chalant has become the norm not only at Stop and Shop but many places of business. There's more to say but I'll stop here.
