  Got my work team our staff meeting lunch from here and we all thought the food was delicious! I had never had grape leaves before and they were soooo good. I will definitely need those again soon!

  We enjoyed a delicious meal recently at Despina's. The food was so tasty and fresh! The owner was very accomodating and friendly. This place would be a great choice for those with vegan/ vegetarian diets as well, and they expressed their willingness to change out meat for mushrooms in any of their dishes. Overall, this was a great dining experience, and we would recommend this place to anyone looking for some fresh quality food!

  Great experience every time I get food at Despina's. The owner Jessie is always so welcoming and accommodating. Everything is made fresh w/ quality ingredients. I'd recommend the spanakopita, lamb gyro & buttermilk pie.

  Not sure how they manage to get so many good reviews. Nothing is good here. Certainly not a place to sit and eat, totally run down. The food is disgusting. The chicken is hard, and flavorless. The desserts are stale and smell foul. The order takes 30 minutes! They close and open at random times. The owner lady is outright rude and racist, was yelling at me for showing up with a clipp coupon. Horrible place!

  Went to have lunch with family. Ordered in-person at 11:40am and served food at 12:15pm. Initially greeted with a welcoming smile soon became awkward and unpleasant by the time we received our food. While we were waiting for our order I noticed a tip jar on the counter and thought to tip the little girl (daughter of the owner). She was sweet and treated the customers fairly and kindly. 5 stars for her. When I checked my receipt to determine the amount, I noticed a $1-$2 discrepancy in the pricing of every item we ordered. The little girl said they haven’t had time to update the prices on the chalkboard since taking over the restaurant in December. I thanked her for the info and proceeded to wait for our meal. About a few mins later, the owner stormed out and basically scolded me about questioning the price in front of a handful of customers. She said it was updated online and it’s been physically hard to change the prices on the board. Then went back to the kitchen and complained that she could give back the money & she didn’t care anymore. Also expressed how she was a one person act. However when additional non-ethnic customers came in, she warmly informed them of the price change. Even gave another customer a free order because she mistakenly read the order incorrectly. Then she warmly served another customer with her order of soup. Oddly we didn’t receive a similar treatment. Food: our lamb gyros were overly seasoned while chicken orders were tough, bland & dry. I like the owner’s attempt at healthy styled cooking with air fryer fries and food was not greasy. Operations: be ready to wait a minimum of 30+ mins for your order depending on the rush because the owner manages the front and is the cook.
