If I were to review this establishment, it is worth noting that my experience was a mix of both good and bad. The staff members were quite cheerful, approachable, and friendly; however, the fact that a simple fried dough pastry—which I ordered—was not good left me feeling disappointed. I’m not sure how to describe the issue: was the dough stale? Was it fried in poor-quality oil? Or did they perhaps drop it into the fryer before the oil was hot enough? Instead of having a crispy exterior and a soft interior—as it should—it was soft both inside and out, and it felt like a sponge that had completely soaked up the oil. Worst of all, it left a distinctly unpleasant taste in my mouth. I am a strong supporter of local pizzerias, cafes, and eateries, and I would advise this establishment to take these comments into consideration. My specific suggestion for this restaurant would be to install a suggestion or complaint box; this would allow them to identify—and subsequently rectify—any errors they may have made or overlooked, which would ultimately be to their benefit. The poor quality of even the smallest and cheapest item on the menu—the fried dough pastry—inevitably creates a negative impression regarding their other products, potentially driving customers away and preventing them from returning. By the way, I should clarify that I purchased only the fried dough pastry from this place; I did not buy anything else. Now, following such a negative experience, I do not feel inclined to try any of their other offerings. I hope I’ve managed to convey my point clearly: ultimately, if the very cheapest item they sell turns out to be unsatisfactory, it automatically creates a subconscious impression in the customer's mind that the rest of their products are likely to be just as poor.
