  We’ve been regulars for years and order from Sonny’s all the time. I just want to thank you guys for fulfilling our catering order on 4th of July, even though you guys lost power and in the middle of a heat wave. You guys are the best!!! 😘

  Food is Excellent and everything was fresh and delicious! Logan was our Server and my wife and I had a very enjoyable evening as he took very good care of us also our take out portion of our order was ready when we were finished. I lHighly recommend this restaurant. We will be back. Ty.

  I had a very disappointing experience at Sonny’s. We waited over 30 minutes, and not a single waiter came to take our order. Meanwhile, another couple arrived after us and was served almost immediately. I even asked a young server for assistance, and although he said someone would come, no one ever did. To make matters worse, the floor was sticky, and the restaurant did not feel clean or welcoming. When we finally decided to quietly leave, no one acknowledged us or seemed to notice that we were walking out without ever being served. Unfortunately, the lack of service and attention made us feel completely overlooked. I would not recommend this restaurant based on our experience.

  I had a fantastic experience here for the first time. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I even called ahead to ensure that my dog was allowed, and they were more than happy to accommodate us.

  Sonny's Canal House is a typical sport bar restaurant with live music that sits on a canal. Casual dining i.e. shorts, t-shirt, sneakers, etc. I attended our end-of-year party here at Sonny's. My first complaint is the lack of parking. The restaurant is in a residential area, with limited parking lot spacing. So be prepared to park miles away from the restaurant on the street. Ladies, wear flats and change into your heels 👠 upon arriving at the restaurant. The service was extremely slow, although our party was appointed one hostess for 50 people. I've eaten in plenty of high-end, nose-dives, fast food chains and the food here did not cut it for me. The string beans had no flavor, the penne ala vodka had no flavor and the beef was tough. First of all, the guy serving the food although he had on gloves, was using his hands to place the food onto everyone's plate, extremely unsanitary, especially after touching everything else with those gloved hands 😝. I cannot comment on the drinks, I didn't stay long enough. I left 45 minutes after getting there. Sonny's is just 👌 if you are looking to get out on a hot summer night with a cocktail and enjoy some music 🎶 . My opinion, but, it's all about what you get from the experience.
