Delicious authentic Dominican/Puerto Rican food that is full of flavor as my Abuelas and Titis would make. A family favorite food for get togethers.

This place keeps getting worse. The food is becoming more expensive while the portions keep getting smaller. I was charged an additional $2 for vegetables, but I only received three very small pieces. I also paid $19 for half a chicken, and the portion and presentation did not justify the price. At Genesis Churrasquería, I can get half a chicken with two sides for around $15, including tax. Here, the prices continue to increase, but the quality, portions, and service do not improve. I used to like this restaurant, but after this experience, I do not think I will return.

I was craving a Cubano. I should have asked how they make theirs. The sandwich I got was good but it wasn't a Cubano. My idea of a Cuban sandwich is Roast pork, sliced ham, swiss cheese, a pickle and mustard. Hero bread pressed flat. I hear some people use salami instead of ham. The sandwich I recieved had no pickle no cheese no mustard and was not pressed. I'll give them another try because their food looked good in the trays. If I get another Cubano, I'll ask them if they can make it my way.

Your better off going to Dominican restaurant #2 in Freeport. Same/ better food for a MUCH better price. Ordered 2 meals, 1. chicken and rice and another meat. 1st they did it by the pound. Ended up costing $97. Went to Freeport ordered the same thing less than half. With more flavor

We went to the one in Oceanside and it was ok. So when we saw this one in Baldwin we decided to stop here to see if we could get something to eat. The place is very small and the food is on display behind the glass partition. All the food looked dry and old. We walked right out. Googled to find their other one in Oceanside and it's permanently closed. I can see why.
