  This place used to be great but the attitude of some of the staff has gotten really poor. I’m not sure what’s going on, but I find it so out of the norm of acceptability that I think we need to move on.

  La ansiedad me llevó a Toast & Roast y no me arrepiento” Hoy no iba a salir… pero la ansiedad dijo: “vámonos por un waffle, mija”… y pues una obedece 😂 Caí en Toast & Roast en Astoria, y desde que entras, puro amor: la atención 10/10, María un encanto… y había otro chico (no me sé su nombre), pero igual de atento, de esos que no te sueltan y están: “¿qué más le ponemos?, ¿qué más quieres?” y tú de: “ya estuvo”… y él: “¿segura?” 😅 De verdad, servicio de esos que ya casi no se ven. Yo iba con un antojo claro: waffle o pancakes… y lo que me llegó no era un waffle… era una bendición en forma de desayuno 😩🍓 Grande, bien servido, con fruta fresca, su miel, su cremita… pero lo importante aquí es esto: 👉 no está masudo Porque uno ya sabe… hay waffles que a la tercera mordida dices “ya estuvo”… este no… este está esponjosito, suavecito… de esos que dices “ya no quiero”… y ahí sigues… y sigues… y sigues 🤡 💸 Todo por $16 con café incluido → en NYC eso ya es cariño verdadero. 👉 Eso sí: No vayan con la idea de “me lo echo sola fácil”… esto es para compartir… o para ir con hambre emocional nivel experto, como yo hoy 😌 Conclusión: Si andas triste, feliz, confundida o nomás con ganas de tragar bonito… Toast & Roast te abraza el alma y la panza.

  Food it’s amazing but the big lips girl by cashier has bad attitude bubble gum always in her mouth. I think she’s need to move back from cashier she’s not like that position when the manager show up she’s acting like needs to be .when the manager not around they talk each other and my food get slow Thank you for the good food

  6am and they have no bagels. Why even be open? Called in a pickup order and showed up only to be told I had no order waiting for me. Terrible Hi Santos, We appreciate every customer and understand we are running on a NY minute but you called two (2) minutes before you showed up and your hot delicious NY bagel was ready at 6:02 am. We work hard on our end to make our customers happy and don't understand comments like these. I hope you felt better after your bagel and coffee. We hope to see you again soon. Thank you. So now you guys are just going to respond with lies???? I called more than 2 minutes before arriving. The whole point of a pickup order is to give it enough time to be ready for you to pick it up with no wait. I know you guys are slow but that's common sense. There was no bagel ready for me at 6:02am because I showed up after 6:02 to no bagels even in the store. Where did this magical bagel come from??? You don't understand comments like these??? I don't understand you guys lying. You hope I felt better after my coffee and bagel? What coffee and bagel?? YOU HAD NO BAGELS! Work harder to be an actual coffee shop instead of insisting on lying. Again TERRIBLE!
