- ASA. S.3 days ago5.0Von außen unscheinbar, entpuppt sich dieser Laden als absoluter Volltreffer. Hähnchen und Reis sind super frisch und die Küche sowie die Toiletten tadellos sauber. Die Soßen sind erstklassig und bieten die perfekte Balance aus würzig, sauer, süß, Umami und scharf – super ist auch, dass man die Schärfe selbst bestimmen kann. Der Gastraum ist angenehm klimatisiert und es gibt sogar leckere Nachspeisen. Die Besitzer und das Personal sind außergewöhnlich herzlich. Kurz gesagt: Alles tippi toppi, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt! Vielen Dank!
- IAIstiak Ahmed4 days ago1.0This restaurant does not have the qualities of a successful business. There was no one to greet us at the door or even after we came inside. We seated ourselves. There was no clear indication of where there were menus. After we were asked if we were dining in we still had to ask for a menu. We waited very long and then we were informed our food was given away. We were not comped, receive anything complimentary, or receive any acknowledgement from management that this shouldn’t have happened. The food was pretty good. I suggest for the restaurant to start cutting the half chicken for easier eating but the only reason I’m rating 3/5 for food is because the fries were pretty forgettable and the wings were very small. But honestly the off-putting atmosphere made it hard to enjoy anything. Why aren’t the sauces already on the table? The lights are incredibly bright with no covering. Our table was sticky. The staff seem unhappy and mistreated. I recommend getting on the same page and working on improving communication between staff to avoid more mix-ups like what happened to us.

The food came out on time, was cooked perfectly, and the taste was excellent. The service was just as impressive. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. A special shoutout to Sam, our waitress, who was absolutely phenomenal! She was kind, professional, and made the experience even better. The restaurant was also very clean and well-maintained, which definitely added to the overall experience. Great food, great service, friendly staff, and a clean environment. Everything you want when dining out. I would definitely come back again and would highly recommend Port of Peri Peri to anyone looking for delicious food and excellent service!
- DHDavid HSep 18, 20264.0This spot specializes in grilled meats featuring a signature sauce made with African Peri Peri chili. The meats are typically steamed first and then finished over an open flame on the grill while being basted with their signature sauce. It looks like they recently opened, as grand opening specials were still running during our visit: Chicken Over Rice for $8.95, a Chicken Wrap with fries and a drink for $8.95, and chicken quarters for $10.95 with a second one free. The Chicken Over Rice was on point. At first glance, the protein portion didn't look particularly generous, but looks were deceiving: I had a piece of chicken in every single bite until the very end. I ordered medium spice, and it definitely had enough kick to make my nose run! The chicken quarters were also excellent, especially given the promotional pricing, though I wasn't quite as blown away as I was at Chicken Lovers with their green cilantro garlic sauce.
- AAAmeliaSep 11, 20264.0This recently opened restaurant features Portuguese, Mediterranean, and Halal dishes on the menu. I stopped by for takeout and ordered the Peri Combo Box ($16.95) and 6-piece Chicken Wings ($11.95). The Peri Combo comes with a leg & thigh, your choice of 3 falafels or 2 wings (I went with the wings), a side salad and a regular side. I got Peri Mayo Corn which was recommended by the staff. You can customize the heat level and got it mild. The chicken was perfectly grilled and juicy with a slight kick. I also liked that it came nicely sauced up. The side salad was mostly corn with a piece of tomato, a little lettuce, and onions. I don't think there was any dressing on it, and honestly, it was just okay. But the chicken more than made up for it. For the Chicken wings, I ended up getting the Lemon and Herbs sauce which was terrific. The wings were quite small in size but full of smoky flavor from the grill. Overall, this was a pretty good takeout meal, and I'd definitely come back to try more of the menu.
