  I live nearby and every once in a while I stop into this store thinking it will be cheaper than the smaller markets and delis nearby, but it is not. It’s cramped, all beverages are outside, and the prices are criminal. Today I stopped in for yogurt, coffee, and frozen hashbrowns and somehow my total was nearly $30. I almost bought yogurt that was on sale until I saw it was two weeks past the expiration date. In the 8 months that I’ve lived here I’ve made it a point to avoid this store and today reminded me why. Last time I was there I bought a frozen pizza that I had to throw away because it had clearly been left out of the freezer too long before being refrozen. Also, not for nothing, I always feel like I’m somehow inconveniencing the people who work there, and they never offer to help bag items. The walk to a better store is worth saving both money and frustration.

  The meat is spoiled. I can name 4 different times within the year I tried buying meat from here because I didn’t wanna walk to the other markets. They either mislabel or improperly store their meats. Please don’t get sick. I spent the money I had left for chicken that I had to throw away. I’m so disappointed.

  usually good sales on some stuff but anytime i buy meat or poultry the stench of it is insane when I bring it back home. So much that I'm forced to throw it away to not risk getting sick. check expiration date on things before you buy
