  This place should be ashamed to call itself a grocery store. The moment you walk into the recycling area, the smell is overwhelming. There is often dirty water, trash on the floor, and unsanitary conditions that raise serious public health concerns. The bathrooms are no better — the odor is so strong it smells as if urine was used instead of proper cleaning products. I have complained multiple times to different managers, yet little to nothing changes. In some cases, customers wait over 15 minutes just to speak with management and no one ever comes. These ongoing conditions appear to violate basic sanitation and maintenance standards expected under New York State and New York City health and safety regulations for grocery stores and public areas. Both Stop & Shop locations on Rockaway need immediate attention from health inspectors. In addition, almost 99% of the time only one recycling machine is functioning at each location, causing overflow, backups, and even more unsanitary conditions in an already filthy area. The condition of these spaces is unacceptable. Areas exposed to standing dirty water, garbage, odors, and poor sanitation can attract bacteria, pests, and create serious health concerns for customers and employees alike. Management is responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary conditions, and it is clear that proper oversight is lacking. New York City health inspectors and sanitation authorities need to inspect these locations immediately. Someone should contact 311 and file a formal complaint — and I just might do that myself. Another serious safety issue at these Stop & Shop locations on Rockaway is the constant double parking and vehicles blocking the entrance and exit of the parking lot. Cars are regularly stopped at the front entrance, creating dangerous congestion and blocking the normal flow of traffic for both vehicles and pedestrians. This creates a major public safety hazard, especially for families, seniors, delivery vehicles, and emergency access. Customers attempting to enter or leave the parking lot are forced to maneuver around illegally stopped vehicles, increasing the risk of accidents and injuries. This issue has been reported to management multiple times, yet nothing appears to be done to address or enforce basic traffic safety around the property. Proper monitoring, enforcement, and traffic control are clearly lacking. Between the unsanitary recycling and restroom conditions, along with the unsafe parking lot situation, these locations are failing to provide a safe and properly maintained environment for customers. New York City agencies, including health and traffic enforcement authorities, should inspect these stores and hold management accountable before someone gets hurt.

  Happy 14th Birthday Tristan instead I got Happy 17th Birthday I didn’t feel like a do over. The guy repeated 3 times. on top Of that I said no whip icing and guess what I got whip cream icing 😩😩😩😩

  Lines are ridiculously slow in both self checkout and at the register. On a good day there might not be so many ppl. I had seen plenty of expired items still on the shelves. The ppl at the self checkout are much more welcoming then those at the cash registers btw
