To start off, I rarely make complaints about places or people, especially fast food. I know what it's like to deal with these issues. However, one thing that has been getting on my nerves with this location is how they handle the drive through. For some reason, when they get busy enough, they seem to not understand how to alternate between lanes.
This has been a problem for God knows how long, and will happen at any time of the day, and in any lane. Of course it might just be personal bias, but nearly every time it happens, it always seems to happen as soon as I get up to the speaker. Everyone else in both lanes will get taken care of, but as soon as I get up, that lane will just stop getting asked orders.
Mind you, I don't know anyone who works there, or have anything on my vehicle that would invoke any kind of issue like that. But, it seems to happen nearly every time I go there. It's actually rare for me to get into a lane, and it doesn't stop as soon as I get to the speaker, than it is for the other way around. It's been bad enough that I've personally been yelled at by other customers because it looks like I'm sitting there, when in reality I'm just being ignored.
The last time I was there, I got sick of waiting, and seeing like 4 cars in the other lane, who came way after I did, getting their orders in, and I chose to go inside. I made my order on the machine, but was able to make a complaint to someone who I think was the manager. I tried to quickly explain the issue, but was aggressively responded to about how I was holding him up, he was short staffed, and the guy on the drive though was new. The conversation was like 2 minutes at best, and I can understand being understaffed and having a new guy. What I can't understand is why one lane gets ignored randomly, why it always feels like it happens as soon as I get there, and for the love of God why the employees refuse to alternate between the lanes. I shouldn't have to wait for 4+ cars, who came after me, to get my order in.
