  I had a great experience at this place. Friendly staff clean variety of items. I got the turkey breast with wheat bread. The bread was very slightly stale a little but the sandwich was really good. I even came back for lunch for the salad and some fries. Nice area will absolutely return. Tessa was great. I really liked coming here. Highly recommend :)

  This is the place to hit if you’re in Albany! Great vibes, the buff who is the best on the menu if you like spicy. All the staff is welcoming and nice. Next time you’re on central give it a go!

  JC’s is a true authentic deli and my absolute favorite in the 518! Having used their catering service for both personal parties and corporate events, they never disappoint—team is organized, dedicated, remarkably generous with their portions, and very reasonably priced!! Do not miss the Hail Caesar; there is truly nothing else like it around!

  I went to JC Deli with my coworker and ordered a simple grilled cheese because I’m currently not feeling well and didn’t have much of an appetite.I was charged $10. I noticed that a classic breakfast sandwich is $6 and the regular sandwiches are $12, so I simply asked why I was being charged $10. My coworker got a breakfast sandwich (bacon egg and cheese and she was charged $6. The gentleman at the counter immediately had a very nasty attitude and told me he charged me for a regular sandwich because a grilled cheese wasn’t on the menu. Keep in mind, it was breakfast time, and I wasn’t asking for anything complicated.I just wanted a simple grilled cheese. What bothered me most was the way he spoke to me. He handed me 6 dollars with back with an attitude and was extremely rude and told me to wait.I was simply asking a question about my bill and requested a full refund, but the way he treated me made me very uncomfortable. I understand that mistakes happen, but there is never a reason to speak to a customer so disrespectfully.Unfortunately he was the Owner!
