My family and I visited Gulshan Cafe and Sweets while staying in Albany. We are from New York City and are used to having some of the best food, so we were looking for a good Bangladeshi restaurant in the Albany area. After searching online, we found this restaurant because it was close to our hotel.
From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by both the food and the service. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delicious and full of authentic Bangladeshi flavor. The food was mouthwatering, and the service was outstanding. The staff made us feel very welcome and treated us with great hospitality.
I would highly recommend Gulshan Cafe and Sweets to anyone looking for authentic Bangladeshi food in Albany. Thank you for treating us so well and giving our family such a wonderful dining experience

I am really disappointed because everytime I come to the store for fuska they never wanna make it and they always say it’s busy now like literally how can they they say the same thing for last two months now . Even yesterday I was there and today also back to back they say it’s busy even tho i always come in different time !! I wonder if the owner knows about this situation

This was my first time we came here. The chicken was not fresh; it was half hot and some parts of it was cold; the rotis were the Mexican frozen tortilla which they didn’t cooked thoroughly and charge 2 dollars per roti. Usually tandoor roti is $2. Their fish was rui was sitting on a tray cold and nobody knows how long it’s been sitting there. They have no concerns for food getting bad under certain temperatures it can go bad especially fish. Very unsatisfied and me and my wife kept regretting eating there and should have had dominoes pizza instead. Way too pricey for that type of quality and no ambiance

One of the best Bangladeshi restaurant in Albany. Beef tehari, kacchi, naga khichuri, bihari kabab, koliza shingara, somucha, mishti, almost everything 10 out of 10. The only problem is "Take out boxes" too small! May be 2/3 of the dine-in amount they give when you order take out and that's a huge matter!

Really disappointing experience with the gulab jamun today. It was extremely hard and rubbery instead of being soft and juicy. The texture felt completely off, almost impossible to enjoy. Definitely not the quality I expected. Sharing the picture as proof.
