  Horrible experience. I've been to Salt Grass many times in Texas so I talked my wife into going here for our 31st anniversary on 9/23/26. What a mistake. I ordered a medium rare rib eye and what I got was totally raw purple and mooing piece of meat. I called our clueless waiter over and he said "I'm trying to understand what you want" and I said I want what I ordered. He seemed unable to understand what I was saying. Look, a well known steak house should know all of the temps of a steak from rare to well done. This isn't up for debate. So obviously it was unsafe and inedible so I sent it back. What happened next was unbelievable. The next steak that came out was not even a rib eye and was cooked so hard as to be a catcher's mitt or shoe leather. Also inedible. The waiter threw it down and quickly walked away. After flagging him down I complained and said this is unacceptable and then he sent the manager over who basically told me I didn't have to pay but she wanted me to leave. Wow. I didn't know what to make of this atrocious treatment. My wife and I packed up and left. All I wanted was a nice steak from a well known steak house. I shouldn't have to explain the difference between raw and shoe leather, give me something in between please. I can see why this place has a sub 4 rating. Avoid.

  Great experience. Loved the food and perfect spot for business meetings and get togethers.

  I order food at least 3 days a week service is poor , food is inconsistent , never know what you're going to get. today's order was 2 BACON cheese burgers , pick up food set down to eat , both have no bacon, everyday it's something very annoying mgmt sucks problems are not addressed

  My husband and I came here for a date night from Reno. The restaurant itself was cute and western. To start of our experience, the hostesses were very unwilling to vocalize anything, such as, give us a second and we will seat you or even there is a waitlist. It was like they expected us to read their minds or something. Next, our waitress was nice enough but very scattered and not really that attentive. We had an extra long wait for our two entrees (45 minutes) and when they finally came out the steaks were wrong and mildly warm at best. They also weren't cooked correctly. We wanted medium well, they were definitely medium. Our waitress told us she would have her manager come over to discuss comp options because of the long wait (her offer, we did not ask) but nobody ever came nor did anyone apologize. To top everything off, a couple hours after we ate here both my husband and I felt ill. This was our first and definitely our last time coming here and frankly, for the prices I would urge anyone reading this review to just go elsewhere. Also, to give you some frame of reference, we are big fans of Outback. So, we aren't hard to please at all. This restaurant is really quite a disappointment from start to finish.
