we found a mosquito in our food and the manager denied after “investigating” it in the kitchen - and gaslighted us. Wish we had taken a photo.

Even though there was plenty of space in the all-you-can-eat area, Tsha, the hostess, refused to seat us there for no apparent reason. It honestly felt like they just wanted to close the restaurant and go home early. Very disappointing experience. Updates: Honestly, I believe I was a bit too quick to judge, as I arrived at the restaurant absolutely starving. In the end, the food was INSANE, and Samantha, our waiter, was SUPER fun and attentive. A big lesson in trusting the universe. Thankful to Tsha for that. Sometimes things just work out exactly as they should.

Love this restaurant. So fun to be able to see traffic below you, also a wonderful view of the mountains. Super food makes it a top place to go!

Sadly this place used to be great but we won’t be back. As locals we used to love this place for special events but no more. They are so afraid someone will “share” a piece of sushi from someone in the party who ordered from the “all you can eat sushi” menu that they have instituted a rule of “everyone or no one”. I don’t know about you but I’ve never gone out with a party of six where everyone at the table wanted sushi - normally someone wanted a shrimp dish or crab Louis. The waiters were militant about the rule saying there were cameras watching them and us. So we were treated like cheats, denied the ability to each order what we wanted and then informed we were being watched and recorded. An experience we will never need again.

I went to dinner with my son for the first time at this restaurant. We had to sit at the bar next to the kitchen because there were no other seats available. After about 10 minutes, I asked one of the cooks if they would take our order. He told me the server would be over soon. Another 10 minutes passed before a server finally came. Someone else had already brought us water and bread. When the server arrived, he asked what we wanted to drink and eat without even introducing himself. I asked which of the sushi rolls could be made fried, and he pointed to two of them. The name didn’t sound familiar, so I asked what it meant. Without much explanation, he just said, “It’s a fish.” After that poor guidance I ordered what I thought I would like. Of course, it wasn’t what I wanted. Nothing special for the price, I paid $12 for a sushi roll that didn’t taste nearly as good as the $7 ones from Raley’s. You could barely even see the cream cheese, and it was supposed to be a Philly roll. My son ordered the fish and chips and couldn’t eat a single French fry. They were completely soaked in oil and fell apart they were so poorly made. 25$ overpriced soaked fries. Fish was okay. I wanted to ask for another sauce for my sushi, but the server never came back for the rest of the night until about 25 minutes later when he finally checked if we wanted to order anything else. I asked for the check and, unfortunately, left a very small tip. I normally like to tip well, but after such a bad experience I just didn’t feel like it. I made sure to specify that the tip was for the kitchen only. I do not recommend this place. The sushi is nothing extraordinary, the service is TERRIBLE, and the only nice thing about it is the tables by the window.
