I ordered my coffee and the barista asked to scan my app. She asked if I wanted to use the money on my app, and I said yes but it wasn’t enough to cover the entire order. So she said “oh I can just refund and you can use a card” I politely declined and handed my card over to cover the rest of the order and said “ no thanks. It’s okay I’ve got to get to work” your barista immediately began asking about my hours and told me she felt it was “mean” of me to tell her that. She started rambling about “what if I was the only one working in here?” Not sure how we got from point A to point B. But that was a weird interaction lol. Coffee is good but yikes for everything else.

If the staff are going to stand there and talk to their customers at least make sure the lines moving. I had two cars go in front of me because they didn’t keep moving with the flow. Also sat behind the same car at the window while they talked for nearly 10 minutes AFTER they already got their drinks. People have places to go and things to do. How about you do your job and stay professional. Keep personal talk out of business hours so people can get to work.
