  It was very busy today due to it being lunchtime but they handled it with ease and we were able to get our food quickly. The manager Claudia was attentive and her team did very well working together while they created orders. I actually got to see teamwork at that was pretty awesome.

  Got my food from pickup and it was extremely disappointing, the portion of chicken was DISAPPOINTING. When I tried it, it was even WORSE. I’ve eaten chipotle many times & have never gotten a disgusting feeling from the food, but today was a different story. Overall disappointing, the flavors disappointing, the portions disappointing & for the price… disappointing.

  I haven’t had Chipotle in a while because the food quality hasn’t been up to the standard I remember, but I was craving the lime rice and decided to stop in during my lunch break. The tall gentleman who prepared my order was great—he was helpful, friendly, and provided excellent service. Unfortunately, my experience changed when I got to the register. After I was rung up, I tapped my card and the payment showed as approved on my end before the screen disappeared. The associate at the register took the receipt and then said, “Oh wait, I don’t think it went through. One second,” before getting another employee. While I was already checking my bank account to confirm the charge, the other employee walked over and asked, “Do you want to check your bank?” I explained that I already was because the transaction had shown as approved. I then showed her the completed transaction directly from my bank account. What bothered me most was the way the situation was handled afterward. She looked at me, then looked at the associate next to her with an expression that made me feel as though they thought I was trying to take the food without paying. She then said, “Okay… give it to her.” The interaction was uncomfortable and honestly embarrassing. On top of that, I had to ask again for the drink that I had already paid for, and I was never given my receipt or any explanation about what had happened with the register. Both employees came across as dismissive and unprofessional. I completely understand that technology and payment systems sometimes have issues. My concern is not that the transaction needed to be verified—it is how I was treated while it was being verified. I do not need to try to get “free food.” I paid for my order, showed proof of the transaction, and still felt as though I was being treated with suspicion. I also work in retail, so I understand the importance of customer service and how situations like this should be handled. A simple explanation and respectful communication would have made a significant difference. I would gladly provide a screenshot of the transaction along with the date and timestamp of my visit so management can identify the employees involved and address the customer service concerns with the team.
