Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Not going well tonight. Messing up orders and adding to wait times. Waited 15 mins just for a cup and even then they were confused. Also why polystyrene cups? Havent seen them since the 80s.

The whatabuger on the las vegad strip. Charges double from texas and they will not take rewards. So now that I love whatabuger I only eat there every 3 months. Instead of 3 times a week. But its the stripthats why. Everything is overpriced.

I can’t believe some of you guys put Whataburger and In n Out in the same league. No… they are not. Went here just before midnight on a Monday night. Easy access off the strip. Good. Lots of seating. Good. Kiosks ordering. Good. Co-located with a pizza joint…. Ok…. Got a double cheeseburger, grilled onions, onion rings, medium Diet Coke. $21.15….. could’ve got a couple of steak and egg dinners for that… but ok… I’ll try it at least once. Walked my dinner a block down to The Park by NYNY because I have my dog with me and it’s a more laid back atmosphere. Bit into the cheeseburger….oh….it’s a Burger King Whopper…. It literally tastes like a Whopper, only like 95% there, because the BK Whopper actually tastes better. I don’t mean that in a good or a bad way, only in an OK way. That is to say a BK Whopper is not something I would go out of my way to get, and certainly not something I would pay $21.15 a meal for. BK is what you get when you’re in the US Army Infantry, you’ve had a long day, you don’t want to eat at the DFAC and the only other option available to you on base is Burger King, Subway, or instant ramen in your barracks room. My dog ate the rest of the cheeseburger, which automatically puts it above McDonald’s, because he will not eat McDonald’s burgers at all. But that’s not saying much. Onion rings were fine, again, it tastes like Burger King onion rings, I wonder if they have the same supplier. If I could give it 2.5 stars, I would. It’s just middle of the road. Nothing special. Definitely not something I would crave, and definitely not something I would jump in my car for. Which I do for In n Out, at least twice a week. And if I was by Aria/ParkMGM, I would cross the street and eat at the In n Out instead of Whataburger. And I would recommend you, my dear reader, to do just that. And yes, I’ve read the reviews from Texans who say this is not representative of the Texas Whataburger… I‘ll take your word for it… having never been to Texas outside of my 3-hour layover at DFW. BUT……. If Whataburger can’t get it right… on the Las Vegas Strip, where Whataburger is judged not just by North Americans, but by visitors from the entire world… that by itself says something about Whataburger.

Only place open after midnight. Not crowded but waited 40 min for our order. Burger was cooked but barely warm to the touch and cheese was not melted. Sweet tea dispenser was empty. Plenty of seatings and clean.
