  We submitted our anniversary reservation request a month in advance and specifically asked for an outdoor table with a view of the lagoon. Unfortunately, we were seated at what felt like one of the furthest tables from the view, crammed into a corner between two other tables. The steak was cooked perfectly and was truly excellent. However, the potatoes au gratin lacked flavor, and the street corn simply wasn’t enjoyable—we barely touched it. Our server also brought an additional bottle of sparkling water without asking, which was then added to our bill. Overall, SW Steakhouse fell short of our expectations on several levels, especially for an anniversary dinner. We had a far superior meal and experience at a competing steakhouse the following evening.

  Yet another great dining location at the Wynn/Encore properties. Set on the Lake of Dreams, it's gorgeous. Highly elegant, beautiful designed and styled. Was given the courtesy of a lakeside table of which I am indebted!! But a view, doesn't equate to a meal, so... My 2 servers Maria and Lauren were absolutely great!! Provided water, and the menu, helped me with any questions, and also seemed to enjoy chatting with all the guests there. True enjoyment and great service!! To the Meal, started with a Martini at $21, then the Short Rib Ravioli at $35, they were awesome. 5 small raviolis filled with the most tender, fall apart short rib I ever had. It was a nice start and not too big. Then a shock, free pretzel bread and OMG, this set my head spinning. It was SO DELICIOUS, I wanted to eat it all but couldn't risk filling up!! And I hardly ever eat bread!! And FREE. So many top end resorts on the Strip charge for bread, but not here, and that's brilliant. And it was so tasty, with the salty pretzel top, to the butter soft inside. BTW, the butter served, also a good temp, not too soft, not too hard, just right!! I took the rest back to my room!! To the main, I decided on the 12 oz filet at $112. I asked Lauren how the chef likes it cooked, and she said on the rare side, as I'm not really a rare meat eater, she suggested medium. I agree and it was superb. Absolutely great, a good crust on the outside, pink inside, but not dripping liquid, perfectly rested (see all images) and so tender to cut and chew. A 10!! They also give you 3 small sauces to try (chimichurry, horseradish and a steak style sauce) I also ordered Peppercorn. All were good, but I must say their version of their steak sauce was my fav!! My side was the Au Gratin potatoes, another winner, beautifully cheesy scalloped potatoes with French Fried Onions mixed within. Enough for 2, which Lauren said, but I came close to finishing them!! As a matter of fact, showing the great service Lauren actually congratulated me for finishing ALMOST everything. I didn't think I had that big an appetite. I didn't bother with wine as I was alone, the Martini was fine. Perused the dessert menu, and although they sounded good, I avoided!! Although the sound of Bananas Foster intrigued me. Throughout the meal I was checked on by Maria and Lauren, not in an obtrusive way, but just to make sure everything was going well!! It was. I loved it here!! I can't wait to go back. Pricing, well with the drink, the meals and a tip for their outstanding service it was about $250 for 1. But again, this is TRULY fine dining. There's no question about it. I'm adding photos below of the location/food, see for yourself!! HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommended. I would absolutely go back in a heartbeat!! Everything was perfect. From the entrance, to the server, to the meal, the atmosphere, everything. Heavenly. No other words to say. Try it for yourself. Yup, it's expensive but I do not think you'll be disappointed!! Another supreme experience at the Wynn!!

  We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary at SW Steakhouse, and the entire experience was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome and special. Everyone knew we were celebrating our anniversary and took the time to congratulate us, which was such a thoughtful touch. We were seated right in front of the Lake of Dreams show, and throughout the evening, we truly felt like privileged guests. The entire team was warm, attentive, professional, friendly, and genuinely caring. Their recommendations were excellent, they were always available without ever being intrusive, and every detail seemed perfectly taken care of. The food was absolutely delicious, the setting was beautiful, and the service was exceptional. Thanks to the entire team and the incredible atmosphere of SW Steakhouse, we had one of the best evenings of our lives. It was far more than just a dinner — it was a memory we will cherish for a very long time. Thank you for making our 5th anniversary so special. We cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough.

  i will never go to another steakhouse in vegas!! my husband and i came to Vegas for the first time and made a reservation for SW beforehand, because we wanted lakeside seating. they allowed us to arrive early and we got to sit early, too our night was fulfilling and absolutely just wholesome, which you wouldn’t expect arriving to a steakhouse. our server, Tony - was the highlight of our evening. he was SO sweet, took his time, made sure everything was going well and tasted good and even took off our fries because we ordered too much and didn’t eat them. He shared his story with us, we were there for our honeymoon which he made sure to celebrate! Chris, another server on the floor checked in on us frequently as well which i appreciated. i saw in another review that someone didn’t like the commotion of all the servers but with where we were sitting outside i didn’t find it chaotic at all. Nana, the busser also left a mark on my heart. she was so kind and even gave us a hug as we left. hearing her story and sharing life moments with her felt so refreshing!! my faith in humanity is restored. i am fully convinced the Wynn is a great place because everywhere in here between the restaurants and even the dealers EVERYONE has made us feel welcome!!! the food was great, the servings were GENEROUS. if you get a meal def share the sides with your family or partner! the steak was PHENOMENAL!!!! we will be back i will NEVER go to a diff steakhouse in Vegas! thank you, wynn for creating such great memories for us

  For a restaurant of this caliper, the atmosphere should not be that of a frat house. My wife and I were seated next to a table of 4 guys who were chanting, celebrating outloud, and non-stop disturbing everyone in the surrounding tables. The restaurant was loud like a cafeteria, which paired with a table that felt too long (making my wife be 4-5ft away) caused it to be nearly impossible to converse with each-other without reading lips. My wife was also seated near the back corner of the restaurant on a spot where two booths came together as one, which was very uncomfortable. Those issues made us countdown the time until we could leave, but the main course didn’t come until 35-40 minutes after the appetizer. When it eventually came, we ate it all fast and just needed the bill, but our waitress took roughly 20 minutes to make eye contact so we could pay and leave. Needless to say we didn’t stay for dessert. At the end of the day, my expectations going here were that the service, atmosphere and overall experience would be just as good as the food. We don’t plan on returning unless we’re made aware of these issues being resolved.
