Two of us went for breakfast, and got a sweetened latte with the pink whipped cream, an unsweetened macha, a green hatch chili pot pie, and the two waffles with bacon, totalling about $59 with tip. Now, before someone says "That's awfully expensive"--that is worth its weight in gold to know there is somewhere completely safe for someone who is allergic to gluten to eat. There is no risk of cross contamination, there is no risk of accidental forgetting to list ingredients, it's a totally safe restaurant for severe food allergies.
When you walk in, you are greeted instantly, and asked about any food allergies. Ironically, I am mildly allergic to all natural sweeteners (monk fruit, truvia, stevia, xylitol, allulose) and the owner came out when I ordered the pot pie to let me know there was some sweetener in the pot pie dough and was concerned. Luckily it's not a severe allergy and I love hatch chilis so I was willing to risk it.
The pot pie was amazing (and no reaction!), the bacon and wafflers were good I was told, the matcha tasted like actual matcha is supposed to and I could not try the latte due to the sweeteners but I was told it was very good. Definitely will be back again!!!! A LOT of care is taken per plate, and it shows.
They also do have desserts, and ice cream, but we were quite full after breakfast!
The one caveat: They do not have any sugar or sugar sweetener, so if you are into sweet drinks and HAVE to have sugar, you have to bring your own sugar packets if you do not like allulose, etc., but honestly, give them a try. Unless you are allergic to them, you honestly won't taste the difference (which is how we found out I had an allergy to them in the first place--trying a canned natural sweetener popular drink which was indeed delicious, and then having a reaction).
Will definitely be returning.
