They took care of us so well. Made us feel so welcome, ordered exactly what was recommended and was soooooo good. Highly recommended Italian restaurant on the strip. Low key spot with views.

Lovely ambience while enjoying Italian classics! Our window seat offered the perfect view of the fountains, table side pasta with truffles was rich & amazing, the octopus app was superbly tender and the lamb chops were delicious. Music serenaded at the right volume, service by all was exceptional, the kind of place we will certainly return to. Excellent Sangiovese wine brought back fond memories of Tuscany.

We dined at Scarpetta last week for my wife's 40th Birthday. We spent the extra money to have the table by the widow for a group of 4 of us. Starting this by saying there was a note that stated a 2hr time limit. They seated us 10 min after our 5pm Reservation time. We had standard line of events for the dinner. Started with drinks, then appetizers, salads, the entrees, and finished with desserts. We also ordered a couple bottles of wine during dinner. Our server was very nice and attentive the whole time. Then at 7:02pm, within 5 feet of our table we could here a man in a suit saying to our waiter to "GET THEM OUT OF HERE NOW, THEIR TIME IS UP" he kept saying it in a way so that he knew we would here him. We were still finishing our bottle of wine at this point. We were not dragging the dinner out in anyway, just following the natural events of the meal. After throwing down $1,000 dollars for the bill, we were being treated like dirt. This "Manager" FABIAN did not even have the courtesy to come over and nicely address the situation or offer to get us a seat at the bar so we could finish our wine that we paid for. I've been treated with more respect at Chilis then at Scarpetta. It's extremely disappointing that a "HIGH END RESTURANT" that is supposed to be in the hospitably arena would belittle people so rudely after spending that amount of money. Then when we got up to leave and were talking amongst ourselves at how rude FABIAN was he came over and inserted himself in our conversation and got in our faces stating we better stop being passive aggressive or he would call security. Again all you had to do was be polite to your cliental, especially when you are spending that type of money. I would not recommend going here. You could find much better places that will treat you like gold in Las Vegas. If you go just try your best to stay out of the way of FABIAN's power trip. Good luck everyone. (I wish I kept the bill and time stamp to show you the facts. That's my bad.

Great vibe and such a beautiful restaurant. We had a great evening at Scarpetta. The food was delicious, the ravioli with red wine reduction was amazing, and the wine was excellent. Service was great, and the whole evening just felt easy and enjoyable. We finished with the Scarpetta espresso budino with biscotti for dessert, which was the perfect way to end the night. Definitely a great Las Vegas restaurant.

Scarpetta is an Italian cuisine fine dining restaurant in the Cosmopolitan Resort. Upscale decor with good lighting and comfortable seating. Noise is well muted so you can converse at normal volumes even with a crowded restaurant. That was a nice change. We had a window table and a view of the Bellagio fountains so that was a nice touch. The menu is creative Italian with a good selection of appetizers and salads. There is enough pastas for some dietary restriction but most of the menu is carnivore oriented. Really not a lot for true vegetarians and vegans. There are enough sides, salads and one pasta dish that might provide suitable selections for these dietary preferences. We enjoyed the caprese salad and carpaccio for appetizers and the Spaghetti Scarpetta (just tomatoes and basil) and the Tagliolini Agli Scampi ( delicious prawns and capers). Both were very good. There is an extensive wine list and an ample beer selection. Lots of dessert selections and we settle in the gelato sampler. Service was spot on, attentive without being intrusive. Temperature in the restaurant was very comfortable compared to the refrigerator temperatures in the casino. Only caveat is we don’t think it would be the best place to bring children. Overall a very enjoyable dining experience. we give it 4.5 clams on the coveted Five Quahog Rating Scale ( 5 google stars).
Scarpetta offers an earthy yet modern approach to Italian cuisine with a soulful menu inspired by seasonal ingredients.
