  Saltgrass Steak House was an excellent place to eat while on Fremont street. We were there for lunch and were seated right away. We had ribs, mac and cheese, burgers, fries and grilled chicken with vegetables. All of the dishes were fresh and served hot. Our waitress was friendly and took great care of us. The restaurant had hugh windows overlooking a pool area which can get interesting at times. Good place to eat.

  We were very impressed with the food and service quality, the most affordable steak house was right in our hotel casino and boy was i glad we went. The urban cowboy was cooked and seasoned to protection, the lemon and other seasoning made it probably the best steak and shrimp I've ever had. The filet we had was amazing too at an affordable price. Our server Taylor was very knowledgeable about gluten allergies and the kitchen prep and took very well care of the allergy concern we had. We will definitely be back

  Abril 07, 2026: Fui con una amiga y no tuvimos que esperar para que nos asignaran una mesa. El menú es bastante conciso, con pocas opciones, lo que hizo muy fácil decidir qué pedir. Los platillos llegaron muy rápido y todo estaba delicioso. Además, nuestra mesera fue muy amable durante toda la comida. Tanto el servicio como la presentación y el sabor de los alimentos fueron excelentes. Sin duda, regresaría.

  Comfortable & relaxed atmosphere centrally located in classic Golden Nugget casino. Our first time at SaltGrass, we’ve dined at this very location before it was SaltGrass. Rattler app was perfectly crispy, the country fried steak & Blackened red fish entree were richly seasoned and generously portioned. Had to order cheese cake to go since we were beyond full, it turned out to be delicious. Tony our server was the ultimate professional, we were thoroughly satisfied with quality and value of the food and immediately made another reservation for later this week during our downtown stay. Highly recommend!

  As a local, I know what to expect from this great city, as far as food and service. I was at this establishment with my dear friend for his birthday. The atmosphere was good but I spoke with two patrons who said the food was bad and service was worse ... They were not lying! It took 40 minutes to get someone to take our order, and this is AFTER we asked for a server. We got no drinks offered, no bread offered. When we got our food, it was lukewarm. Tasty but lukewarm. He ordered the spinach dip and chips. The dip was chunky, barely lukewarm and it wasn't blended as it should have been. I got queso and chips. Again, tasty but lukewarm. We had to ask for something to drink and had to ask for the check and to go boxes. Overall, it was incredibly disappointing. The service was to say the least, pathetic and the food followed close behind. I will never ever patronize Saltgrass Steak House again at the Golden Nugget.
