As long time Vegas Downtowner, I am embarrassed to admit this was my first time. I know the chef’s previous connection to the legendary Oyster Bar. But I’m going to give them a begrudging 4 ⭐️’s.
The main draw on the menu for my mom was the clam chowder. And YES, it was very good. My chicken and sausage pan roast was okay. But I ordered it spicy and it really wasn’t.
The surprise was the catfish and hush puppy sides were creative and tasty, but overcooked. We ordered a Caesar salad as well, with dressing on the side. For $13 that’s a very small Caesar salad, the croutons were kinda stale and the dressing was missing - along with any tartar sauce for the catfish.
At face value $79 is a great price point for 3 people. But this isn’t fast food prices either. Maybe my order was a bit non standard and it was a Sunday. But the locals WANT this place to succeed. And I will go back. The potential is high. Just a couple quality control issues. But PK has potential to be the best Cajun food in Vegas.
We somehow were able to order food 15 mins before closing due to an issue with one of their apps (should have not been open) but they still prepared our food and it was excellent, and they were nice even though they were almost closing. We tried the new English clam chowder and the pan roast and both were great.

I truly struggled with writing this review because I’ve supported PK’s since they opened and always considered it a hidden gem. My husband and I made it a point to visit every time we came to Vegas, which makes this experience even more disappointing.
We recently placed an online order, and what I received was not what was advertised. I ordered the seafood pan roast with lobster, shrimp, crab, and cod. There was no cod, little to no crab, and the “lobster” appeared to be crawfish (I was later told it was langoustine). The taste was also noticeably off from the quality I’ve experienced in the past.
When I called to speak with a manager, I was told the website was outdated and didn’t reflect the current ingredients. While I appreciate the explanation, that’s not something a customer should have to account for. Additionally, there was no real effort to address or resolve the issue—just a casual acknowledgment.
This also isn’t a cheap meal, so the expectation for accuracy and quality is absolutely reasonable.
I wasn’t necessarily expecting a refund, but I did expect better customer service and some level of accountability. This experience was disappointing, and I truly hope it was just an off day. Updating the website and improving how customer concerns are handled would go a long way.

I made an order yesterday, for my husbands birthday the website let me order, and gave me a countdown on when orders would be closed. I placed the order. Money was taken out of my account. My husband drives all the way across town to pick it up, and they are CLOSED. so I call today and the lady that answers the phone basically tells me that it isn’t their problem and to talk to Owner.com the creator of the freaking website. She doesn’t try to fix the problem, maybe offer to make the food and today, nothing. I work in food in beverage and the fact that she wouldn’t acknowledge the mistake really made me upset. I have been recommending this place since thanksgiving when we first tried it had amazing customer service about our dietary needs that day, but now I don’t know.
