  Drove from Tropicana and Boulder highway to eat some yard food and I was disappointed 😞. Let me start with the good parts. Brown stew fish was good, now for the bad part.I ordered "ECOVICHE FISH" and I was told it would take 45mins it took an hour or more and I got BROWN STEW FISH stew ESCOVICHE and I don't even want to tell you the lame excuse I got for the mistake because it insulted my intelligence.The side of plantains I ordered looked like burnt bacon so I sent them back. My date ordered curry goat and it tasted like brown sugar goat with no curry flavor. Instead of the chef/owner coming out and addressing these issues; a personal mutual friend who doesn't even work there was carrying the messages back and forth to the kitchen not even the waitress. She was cool but I don't think serving is her strong suit and then after giving her a 100 for change and having money on the table she stood there like she was worried I was going to run out on our check. We paid and left highly disappointed. Needless to say I will not be going back.The price for a side of 6 measly wilted looking plantains were $12. Brown stew fish was $45, beef patty $7, brown sugar goat no curry $35, D&G sodas $8 for 2. A waste of my money and time. Ginalship ah gwaan.

  My only compliant is they did not have everything on the menu. I saw in other reviews the same issue. I suggest that if you dont have a menu item after a week it should be taken off the menu/site then there is no disappointment. Otherwise, pleasant place, loved the open mic entertainment on Tuesdays. Will come again.

  I’ve been going here for years and everytime the food is amazing. The service is trash or you’re catching an attitude every time I’ve come though. Mother’s Day 5/10/26 I ordered my food at 1030am online to be picked up at 1145am. I arrived at 1148am food wasn’t ready still the woman in the front said it’ll be 10 more minutes I didn’t get my food until 12:40pm so almost an hour after. I didn’t get a discount, a drink, a free patty or even a sorry! The lady just handed me my food like I was wrong for waiting an hour smfh! I usually don’t do this stuff but downright despicable service. I can usually deal with the attitudes but the lack of accountability naw I’m good I don’t care how good the food is I’ll never come here again.

  Just had some food delivered from here yesterday. Great experience. They made my food fast fresh and when they were out of stock, they substituted an item. Great place will absolutely get delivery again. As a Jamaican girl, I am very picky about my Jamaican food, but I love this place.

  Came for the first time today. Nice, clean establishment. The server was nice but it was literally only her so everything took a min. I don’t know if they were just short staffed on this Sunday but they for sure need another person to assist. The oxtails were good and moist, the jerk wings I gave back because they were too spicy (for me) but they were falling off the bone. The first order of rice and peas were hard and sticking together, I had them remake my order and the second order of rice was good. Not a lot of flavor but I mixed them with the curry chicken and it was way better. The steamed vegetables are decent, nothing special just regular veggies. The Mac and cheese is not good. It LOOKED good but something about it was off. Overall I’ll give the whole experience a 5.5/10 I probably won’t go back.
