  This is not an everyday place to eat but a special occasion. Meals start at $25. You get generous portions and the meat is tender and flavorful. I got brown sauce shrimp. Large shrimp with pepper & onion with a tasty brown sauce that had spice but not overwhelming. It came with rice and cooked cabbage. I was not too fond of the cabbage as it tasted bland to me but the rest made up for it. I had a fruit rum punch that was good---it was just strong enough! My friends had Oxtail meal and the Curry chicken. Note the edible flower! The only reason we had leftovers was they ordered meat pies!

  I ordered the combo dinner with curry chicken and oxtails for $50, and unfortunately it was a waste of money. The curry chicken was way too spicy and lacked flavor. I had been here once before, and the food was decent, so I decided to try something different from the menu. This time I was really disappointed. Coming from the East Coast, I’m used to being able to get an oxtail and curry chicken dinner for $35 or less, and it taste much better. Based on the price and the quality of the food I received, I won’t be returning. I hope the restaurant improves both the flavor and the value for the price.

  I ordered the rice and peas with steamed cabbage and brown stew chicken. The brown stew chicken has a very strong cinnamon after taste, which is really throwing me off the steamed cabbage smells and taste like the broccoli that’s in it which I’ve never had it with broccoli before and I don’t like it with broccoli. The rice and peas all you taste is cinnamon it’s so much cinnamon and sweet that it’s turning my stomach I will not be back again. I’m from California and I was expecting it to taste like the food back home the rice and peas. You can taste the coconut milk the stew chicken you can taste the bell peppers and the seasoning of the chicken. This just taste like a sweet mess.

  The food was so damn dry and old tasting I jerk chicken plate.they only got two sides Mac and cabbage mixed with broccoli. That had to be the only good thing tho. The rice and peas was dryer then a Popeyes biscuit. not even five peas (no exaggeration) inside the rice. Compared it to jerk dat.. not even close. Dutch pot next

  The food was excellent. I am rating this establishment 4 stars only because the dessert selection lacks alternative options. During my visit, I had the pleasure of meeting the Chef, who is clearly dedicated to delivering an authentic island cuisine experience. Additionally, our host was phenomenal, providing a thorough and welcoming overview of both the atmosphere and the menu. I followed her recommendation, and the meal completely lived up to expectations. While the prices are on the higher side, it is understandable for a family-owned, "mom and pop" establishment in the current market. The ambiance, complete with a live DJ, was fantastic. I will definitely be returning.
