Mizumi is a Japanese restaurant with garden views & a Japanese menu mixing traditional and contemporary cuisines. Mizumi takes an innovative approach to Japanese cuisine with a robatayaki bar, teppanyaki room, and ocean-fresh sushi and sashimi.
Very disappointing experience.
We were initially told we would be seated at a window table and waited around 20 minutes for it. When we were finally brought over, Lauren, manager, suddenly told us the table was no longer available.
What made the situation uncomfortable was that the table remained empty afterward the entire time we stayed there.
At the same time, the neighboring table was receiving very attentive service, which honestly made us feel unwelcome and unfairly treated.
I understand restaurants prioritize certain guests, but the situation was handled in a very uncomfortable and unprofessional way.

We have 5ppl came here last Wednesday, the foods decorated nice & fresh but to much over price , we ordered 8 different meals and just drink water no alcohol . We paid $620 for that dinner . After 30min 1 of my friend threw up after driving home and she woke up at 3am throw up 1 more time , until morning she tired and can not go for work . Another girl in my group feel upset her stomach in the morning after dinner and not go work also . I did call to the restaurant to talk with receptionist, then she transferred to manager , then manager said some body in security department will contact me . After 2 hours , 1 guy from the restaurant called me and he said will get my infor to claim report . After that I received email said wait 48 hours . Until Monday I did not receive anything from them so I email them back , they called me and just say apologize. I don’t think the 5 stars restaurant like that never do anything for clients and just say sorry for anything happen . We usually went out every month for fine dining but this is the fist time it’s happen like that and the first time I call back to the restaurant but I really disappointed because of their treated to clients.

This was truly one of the most exceptional dining experiences I’ve ever had. The sushi here is, without exaggeration, among the best in the world in my opinion. Every piece was incredibly fresh, perfectly prepared, and beautifully presented. You can immediately tell that the highest quality ingredients are used and that a lot of skill and passion go into every detail. Each bite was a highlight on its own.
What makes this restaurant even more special is the breathtaking view of the waterfall. Dining with such a stunning backdrop creates a unique and almost magical atmosphere that you rarely find anywhere else. It turns a great dinner into a truly unforgettable experience.
The service was just as impressive as the food and the setting. The staff were exceptionally friendly, attentive, and professional, always present at the right moment without ever being intrusive. They made us feel genuinely welcome and ensured that everything ran smoothly from start to finish.
Overall, this was a perfect evening in every sense — outstanding food, spectacular views, and impeccable service. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a memorable experience. I will definitely return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for something truly special!

• Chef's Choice Sushi Moriawase ($96): This came with 11 premium selections of nigiri
• A5 Wagyu Nigiri Sushi ($88): This came with 4 pieces topped with caviar and yuzu kosho
🌟 A Stunning Date Spot with Breathtaking Views! 🌟
I recently visited Mizumi, and as you can clearly see from my photos, the waterfall background is absolutely breathtaking. It creates such a serene and beautiful atmosphere that makes the entire dining experience feel incredibly special.
💡 Pro-Tip for Seating:
If you are looking for that perfect Instagram photo with the waterfall directly behind you, be aware that there is a minimum spend of $175 per person to sit in the tables closest to the water. If you want to avoid that high minimum but still get a great view, my best advice is to book a reservation for as soon as they open. We arrived early and had a reservation, so we were very lucky to be seated with the waterfall in our background.
🍱 The Sushi Experience:
The food quality is high, though you are definitely paying a "premium price" for the location. We tried two different sushi options:
• Chef's Choice Sushi Moriawase ($96): This came with 11 premium selections of nigiri.
• A5 Wagyu Nigiri Sushi ($88): This came with 4 pieces topped with caviar and yuzu kosho.
In our opinion, the $96 Chef's Choice set was much more worth it. While the A5 Wagyu was delicious, getting 11 high-quality pieces felt like a better value compared to just 4 pieces for nearly the same price. The sushi was good, but you are definitely paying a bit of a markup for the stunning environment.
🍮 The Highlight: Yuzu Soufflé ($21):
The dessert was easily the best part of the meal! The texture of the Yuzu Soufflé was so special and perfectly light. I will say that the Yuzu sauce was a bit on the sour side for my personal taste, but when paired with the coconut ice cream, it balanced out beautifully. It’s a very unique dessert that I would highly recommend.
Final Thoughts:
Mizumi is a fantastic date spot, especially because it is so beautiful. Anyone who loves taking photos will have a great time here. Just keep in mind that it is an expensive night out—it is very easy for individual items to go over $100, and the bill adds up quickly. However, for the service, the quality, and that incredible waterfall view, it’s a wonderful experience for a special occasion! 💕

Mizumi is easily one of the most beautiful spots in Las Vegas. The views of the private lagoon and the waterfall are incredible, creating a backdrop that you just can't find anywhere else on the Strip. One of the best things about the layout is that there truly isn't a bad seat in the house; whether you're right by the windows or tucked further back, you still get to take in the whole atmosphere.
I’ve been back several times now, and the service is always stellar, warm, attentive, and consistently on point. The food is absolutely delicious and hits the mark every single visit. I’ve never been disappointed here, and the combination of the scenery and the high quality menu makes it a guaranteed satisfying experience every time I walk through the door.
