  The decoration and view are awesome. All two stars are for the environment. As a restaurant, I’ll give 0 star, the food is not reach my expectations. The tasting menu probably is the worst on the strip, very little course not even enough amount for an adult dinner. The most terrible thing is as a Japanese style restaurant the testing menu not even include a single regular sushi and only ONE piece of sashimi. It does has a piece of fried sushi, but it’s not what you expected for a high-end Japanese restaurant. Over all, DO NOT ORDER the tasting!

  Don’t go here if you have celiac or have a gluten allergy. The server will be annoyed and make a rude comment saying “do I have to do all this paperwork for this?”. Along with that she won’t check on your table within 30 minutes of being sat to place a drink order or even ask if you even want anything to eat. To finish it off she’ll forget to ring in the drink you ordered at dessert. The food was amazing and the chefs did a great job accommodating to my allergy. So it’s a shame to have to write this review, but as someone who has worked many years in the service industry this server should not be working in fine dining.

  What an incredible experience. I simply do not understand the recent negative reviews. My wife and I were walki-ins on Saturday night and were told that the restaurant was completely committed for the evening but the sushi bar had availability. We arrived at 9pm and were seated within ten minutes. Our visit was absolutely flawless. The service was 10 star, the sushi was some of the best I’ve had outside of Japan and the cocktails were perfect. When we are back in Vegas, we will absolutely be back but this time with a reservation to sit outside ( IYKYK). The management team was even kind enough to provide a “booster seat” for my wife’s handbag. Absolutely next level!! I would highly recommend Mizumi to anyone looking for an incredible experience, not just an amazing meal. Thank you again staff for making my wife’s birthday weekend special.

  Mizumi rappresenta una delle più raffinate espressioni della cucina giapponese contemporanea a Las Vegas. In una città che ama stupire, questo ristorante riesce a distinguersi con un'eleganza autentica, mai ostentata, dove ogni dettaglio contribuisce a creare un'esperienza gastronomica di altissimo livello. La qualità della materia prima è semplicemente straordinaria. Il pesce, impeccabile per freschezza e consistenza, è valorizzato con una tecnica precisa e rispettosa, che lascia parlare gli ingredienti senza inutili eccessi. Ogni portata rivela equilibrio, pulizia dei sapori e una ricerca della perfezione che si percepisce in ogni boccone. L'ambiente è magnifico: la vista sul giardino giapponese, sul laghetto e sulla cascata crea un'atmosfera di rara bellezza, intima e sofisticata, capace di far dimenticare per qualche ora il ritmo frenetico della Strip. Il servizio è esemplare, degno della migliore ospitalità internazionale: impeccabile nei tempi, estremamente professionale, attento senza mai risultare invadente. Il personale accompagna l'intera esperienza con competenza, naturalezza e un'autentica cultura dell'accoglienza. Mizumi è uno di quei ristoranti in cui lusso, tecnica e sensibilità gastronomica convivono in perfetto equilibrio. Un indirizzo che merita pienamente la sua reputazione e che consiglierei senza alcuna esitazione a chiunque desideri vivere una delle esperienze gastronomiche più eleganti e memorabili di Las Vegas.

  So disappointed. We went to celebrate a friend’s upcoming wedding. We were a party of 3. We arrived early and were seated 45 minutes late with zero updates from the hostess or manager. We were told to have a seat a the bar then promptly told by the bartender that these seats were for guests eating dinner and we would need to stand (which we did for almost an hour). We were told our drinks would be comped but they were not and we awkwardly had to ask for a credit at the end of our meal. The tofu roll was not good at all but the other dishes were good, not amazing. They did seat us by the window, which was nice. The ambience was nice though our waitress was not helpful when we asked for menu recommendations or approximately how many dishes to order for our group. Overall really poor service and management. We felt we were treated badly and will not return again.
