CORPORATE FOLLOW-UP REQUESTED
I experienced completely unacceptable treatment at the McDonald’s near Fort Apache Road and Tropicana Avenue. I ordered a meal deal, an ice cream cone, and water. When I reached the drive-thru window, my order was incorrect. I asked the employees to repeat my order, calmly identified the error, and requested that it be corrected.
Because it was approximately 114 degrees outside, I also asked for water. The employees added a $2.89 charge as though I had ordered another full-priced beverage. I told them to remove it because I did not want to pay $2.89 for water and believed a cup of water should be available to a paying customer during extreme heat.
Instead of correcting and completing my order, the employees told me they would no longer serve me. The situation then escalated far beyond a normal customer-service disagreement.
The employees involved are clearly identifiable in my photographs and video:
1. Bertha, whose name badge identifies her as the General Manager. She was wearing glasses and a blue shirt. She leaned out of the drive-thru window, held her personal phone toward my vehicle, and appeared to photograph or record me instead of resolving the complaint.
2. An unidentified employee wearing a light-green sweatshirt, a black McDonald’s cap with decorative pins, clear glasses, a drive-thru headset, and dark hair pulled into a bun. This employee left the restaurant, approached the driver’s side of my vehicle, and banged on my window while I remained seated inside.
This is the central issue: McDonald’s employees refused to complete my order, came outside to confront me at my vehicle, banged on my driver’s-side window, and recorded me because I questioned an incorrect order and declined a $2.89 water charge. The General Manager participated in the confrontation instead of de-escalating it.
Their actions felt hostile, intimidating, and completely inappropriate. No customer should be surrounded or confronted at their vehicle by restaurant employees over a routine order correction. I have timestamped photographs and video documenting the employees, the confrontation, and their actions.
I am requesting direct contact from McDonald’s corporate office or the franchise owner, a formal investigation, preservation and review of the restaurant’s surveillance footage, and a written explanation of how this incident will be addressed.

I've never been to this location. I called them asking what Hello Kitty toy figure they had for their Happy Meal.I was specifically told of 2 figures (out of 8 in set) so I told them I was coming now. I drove 10 miles in heavy traffic (due to school getting out) to get there with my puppy & 91 yo mom in car driving in 110 degree heat. After finding parking far away & crossing the drive thru traffic to get inside, it was VERY cramped due to small bldg. I asked the cashier to confirm what toy figure they had & it was NOT what was told on the phone. He said they only had one figure, #3. I told him I just called & a lady said they had (the one I came for) #4 and #5. He went behind the back area talking to co-workers and they all peeked around the corner to see me and laughed, speaking Spanish. He said that's all they had, no apologies or anything. So I said I'll order 3 Happy Meals so I can get #3 (mothra) to give to co-workers. When I got my order, I was given 2 of the #3 and one #2 (king gidorah) So again, I was given a figure I didn't want, drove all the way out there without receiving the one they told me they had originally (#5 Kuromi). I was so disappointed, I didn't even bother to point that out or ask for the trade. He didn't seem to care, bad customer service. On the bright side, of the 3 Mcdonalds I went to in the past 24 hours, they had the hottest/crispier fries. I suggest all readers of this to go inside to see the conditions for yourself, and see how staff treats you. It might be due to racism (I'm Asian) but for the to misquote over the phone, didn't apologize, & give me a figure never mentioned, just bad all around, and I'm usually a nice reviewer and person in general. I'm so disappointed at this location

I came in to buy one of the Happy Meal toy on 7/24/2026 and the male store manager was so sweet. I really wanted to pay for the meal just to get the toy for my child because he's a big BTS fan and want to collect them all, but he has gluten allergy. He insisted I kept the toy for my son and did not let me pay for it. I was so touched by his kindness and I wanted to even purchase the meal for the next child, but he was so kind and told me it was okay. I appreciate when stores take allergies seriously! The store was very clean and I was just impressed with the kindness he shown. Thank you so so much!
There is manager with blonde hair Spanish lady, she is always rude. You ask her a question and she ignores you and walks away. She brings your order and never smiles or says thank you. I've been there multiple times with other guests and she does the same thing to them. Also asking her to open the door for restroom, she always is looking for the key. There are ones that put the code in the door but she will not. Maybe there should be more then 1 key.
She should be retrained on being a manager for politeness and courtesy. Never a problem with the other employees they a very polite.
I went today also 7-15-26 and I watched her use the code for an employee to get into the restroom, when it's a guest she can't be bothered.

This blonde Spanish woman manager is so very rude, walks away from you when ask her something. Whether it's ordering food or the restroom the customers just look at her and are stunned by her actions. She was fine for awhile now she is back to the same rude person she is.

This manager again messed up an order, she gave me sweet tea instead of unsweetened tea, I asked for mild salsa and she gave me hot salsa. Maybe she likes to redo orders more than 1 time. It was just mine that she did it to, it was the group I was with. Never apologized for her mix up always just rude.
