  My son and I got the $75 Omakase. Every course was a slam dunk. The sashimi was very fresh. Each piece of nigiri was topped with a dollop of complimentary flavor including pickled wasabi. For me, no additional soy was necessary. They were perfect bites of food, especially the uni, which was rich as butter. The hand roll might have been the best part of the meal. It was the perfect combination of savory, spicy, and acid. There was a noticeable attention to detail in the food and the service. The bar for quality sushi is very high in this town. Kase is punching way above its price point in quality.

  This place is spectacular. We were blown away by the food and the service was spot on. James was lovely. Hands down the best sushi I've had in a very long time.

  Came in today for lunch and was excited to bring friends who had never tried Kase before. We were the first ones seated and the first to order. Two of us ordered the omakase, while my friend’s husband ordered à la carte (salad, miso soup, cucumber sunomono, baked mussels, and two sushi rolls). Unfortunately, the experience didn’t get off to a great start. After ordering, I had to ask for a place setting, which should have been noticed and provided automatically. The sushi rice was slightly undercooked with a noticeable firmness in the grains that affected the overall texture of each bite. That was the first red flag for me personally. As the sushi omakase was served all at once, the pieces ended up tasting very similar... there wasn’t much distinction or depth of flavor between each fish. When the omakase was served, there was no explanation or guidance on where to start. I understand the menu recently changed, but we expected at least a brief introduction or recommendation to enhance the experience. The albacore hand roll to finish was mediocre at best- too much mayo in my opinion. Timing and service were the biggest issues. While we received our salad and soup and had already started the omakase, our friend was still waiting on his "uncomplicated" appetizers (salad, cucumber sunomono, miso soup.) We had to repeatedly ask for updates, and in the end, his miso soup never arrived at all. It ultimately took about AN HOUR for his sushi rolls, and even then, we were already ready to leave and the sushi rolls were nowhere to be seen. As someone with a background in restaurant management and service, a simple heads-up about delays or more proactive communication would have made a big difference. This is something that the server should have been responsible for and been more aware of. The restaurant wasn’t busy, which made the long wait even more confusing. In the end, the server did remove two rolls from the bill that never arrived. However, the overall experience felt disorganized and disappointing, especially considering we came in excited to introduce friends to the restaurant. I don't think I'll be back.

  Sweet employees, the food portion size were perfect for me and the quality is incredible! My friend brought me here to try and it was definitely worth it. Great place to try if you're visiting Vegas
