We approached the counter to place an order and were told somewhat rudely that there would be no bread available for another 10 minutes. That wasn't a problem for us, so we waited and returned to order a sandwich.
We ordered a regular #4 and specifically requested that it contain only turkey and bacon. I believed I was clear that those were the only two ingredients we wanted on the sandwich. However, when it was being prepared, condiments, lettuce, and tomato were added. Fortunately, I noticed before it was wrapped and politely reiterated that we only wanted turkey and bacon.
Unfortunately, my request was met with attitude and eye-rolling from the employee. I understand mistakes happen, but there was no need for the negative reaction when I was simply correcting the order. When I'm paying full price for a customized sandwich for a child and also leaving a tip for the service, I expect to be treated with courtesy and respect.
The issue wasn't the mistake itself—it was the way it was handled.
Dustin was excellent. Had a 2 sandwich order. 1 club tuna unwich, and 1 spicy Italian regular. Along with soda and chips. Got it to me in under 4 minutes and the quality of both was top notch. Great customer service and hashed out the rush behind me before I finished my sandwiches.

Definitely the worst location I have EVER visited, not only were they 20 mins late to take an order for an inshop order, but they also refused gift card redemption. What kind of Franchisee refuses gift cards, I have been one of the top 5 General Managers of a JJ in DFW and never EVER have I refused a gift card payment, it was taught to refuse a corporate or franchisee payment via gift card. This location is completely turned around from the JJ core values of customer satisfaction, would HIGHLY recommend going to a JJ that cares about customer service and satisfaction above the Franchise Owner’s “interpretation,” of service, it is a awful terrible store of the Jimmy John’s Brand and makes me feel ashamed to call myself a GM of a Jimmy John’s for the time I have spent trying to build a “brand” image for Jimmy Johns
