On our trip to Las Vegas we always look for more Hawaiian comfort food restaurants so I saw Grinds to da Max and we had lunch there. This place had all the usual Hawaiian style food and some with a few twists. The braddah who was working was from Waimanalo and supa nice. Since we couldn’t make up our minds he recommended we try some mix plates choosing a couple of options. So my son had the garlic chicken and spicy furikake chicken and I had the spicy chicken katsu and meat jun. I also got a mini noodles to go. All our food was tasty and reminded me of home. The plates were stacked with food and we definitely were full when we left. If you want to try some Hawaiian comfort food or you are from there we recommend this place. It’s in a food court which is adequate and if you have others who want to eat something else there are other options available….

This place is legit. Amazing food even better service. I’m from Hawaii and this place makes me feel like I’m home. Chicken long rice is money. The teppenyaki steak with Japanese mustard sauce is unreal. Potato crab salad is on point. If I could I would eat here everyday. If you’re from Hawaii and are looking for a place that reminds you of home or even if you’re not and you wanted to see how Hawaii locals like to eat, you need to stop by.
