- ALAshley Lee1 day ago1.0I’ve been talking up five guys for awhile to my boyfriend who has never had them. We decided to eat here because it didn’t look too busy inside. He ordered a bacon cheeseburger, I got a little bacon cheeseburger and an order of regular Cajun fries to share because the portions are always so big. Paid over $30. Get our food and the burgers were a sad thing to see. The amount of fries given was even more upsetting. I’ve purchased a little fry when I’ve come by myself and received double to amount we purchased for a regular fry. My entire meal was ruined knowing I just spent that much for a value I never received. I won’t be back. The table next to us ordered a large fry (size up from what we ordered) and their bag was half full of fries. lol like ours didn’t even spill out to the bag at all. $13 for a burger alone and you’re still hungry afterwards. What a joke.

I received one of the burgers with bacon and Jalapeños which I didn’t mind I was still going to eat it. Two bites into the burger I felt a hard piece of something which I thought it was the bacon, to my surprise it was a piece of black plastic. I had ordered burgers for my kids and good thing that plastic was on my burger and not my kids. Horrible experience totally ruined our meal. Will not be eating from this burger place ever again. I called DoorDash and they refunded $17 in credits. Be careful when you order from this place.

I wish they had Swiss cheese, but nothing else is lacking here: juicy (not overcooked) hamburger, free toppings (including grilled onions), split flat-top-cooked hot dog, intense seasoning on the fries, and fountain drinks under $3.00. Carson did a great job, being fast, efficient, and not getting thrown when I needed to change the order (fries to Cajun fries).

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
