  I went there for the gym shoe sandwich that I saw a food influencer was talking up but the guy behind the counter said they couldn’t make it they where waiting for there meat order . But they meat for the other sandwich I ordered . First and last time there I will just stick with Windy City beef

  Love this place! Fries are amazing! Use to always get the Italian Beef! But one time they accidentally gave me a bacon cheeseburger, I was so upset when I got home. But tried it and loved it too, now I order that often lol

  I’ve been to this Chicago’s Best location on Maryland Parkway multiple times, and the experience is completely inconsistent depending on whether the owner is there or not. When she’s present, things seem to run much smoother—but when she’s not, especially during the later evening hours, the quality drops significantly. The late-night crew, in particular, comes across as disengaged and uninterested. It feels like they’re more focused on closing up than actually serving customers. Orders don’t seem to be handled with care, and the food quality reflects that. For example, I’ve received a hot, freshly made Italian beef sandwich paired with fries that were clearly old, cold, and stale. That kind of mismatch is frustrating and honestly unacceptable. When I asked for the fries to be remade, the situation didn’t improve. The worker remade them in what felt like 15 seconds, clearly rushing, and the result was fries that were undercooked—basically raw potato. It felt like my concern wasn’t taken seriously and that they just wanted to get me out of the way rather than fix the issue properly. On top of that, the customer service is lacking. There’s little to no greeting or welcoming attitude—just a rushed, indifferent interaction that makes you feel like an inconvenience rather than a paying customer. It gives the impression that standards aren’t being maintained when management isn’t around.

  Meh..it was just ok. We got the thin crust. It was underwhelming. Our server was great. It was expensive for a pizza and a salad. I wouldn't return.

  Had the Italian beef More bread than meat Not the same bread from picture in menu. and diffently not turano bread which is what is originally used ... It was Dry as hell Fries had no crisp balled together and oil just dripping Giardinera taste like it's about to go sour. I'm from Chicago ,,live here now. Definitely not Chicago s best. Y'all need to get it together before portillos restaurant get here..
