  I went to this Albertsons today about 7pm. Don’t usually shop here but insurance gives me allowance. I had a pleasant shopping experience thanks to two guys that helped me, one to car because I’m handicapped. The machine didn’t take card on checkout so I called insurance while trying to check out. Customer service was taking long so I paid with credit card. I left and called insurance and when I got through I asked if balance was still good for groceries. They explained yes so I went back to put charge on card and refund my card. I asked the nice guy if customer service was open and he tells me he’ll call someone to come help. I watch guy call and lady named Lilly walks to him and yells from afar “what do you want?”. I replied help. She repeats again “what do you want?” I hold up my receipt and yell help. She acts like I’m bothering her so she walks over and asks again “what do you want?” I explain I need help and explain issue. She cuts me off and says customer service is closed, says I’ll have to come back in the morning as she reaches for receipt. Then she says that this will have to be itemized and says she saw me having trouble at register and asks me why didn’t I ask for management. She walks behind counter with my receipt and acts like I’m inconveniencing her as she’s messing with register. I explained if she gives me back my receipt I’ll come tomorrow. She ignores me. I say to her I’m not sure what her problem is, but her attitude was uncalled for and if she didn’t want to help me, to give me back my receipt and I’ll come back tomorrow. She finally does and I can’t even believe someone like that has a job at a grocery store. Apparently she has a problem with doing her job. I wish I recorded the interaction because if I was to show her manager, she’d probably get written up or lose her job. I know I’d fire her if I had an employee act like that to customers.

  I visited the store yesterday to grab something to eat and again the pricing shocks me. Why is it more expensive than Walmart, smith's, Aldi and the Mexican stores? It just feels really disingenuous to me.

  I wish I could give 0 stars. The staff seems great to the regulars, very social with them and helpful. But this is a grocery store not an old folks' home. Every single time I come in, there are no registers that are staffed with people even though there are registers open. I have never left once without re-bagging the items I purchased. This includes meat being packaged with non-perishable items and not being separated out. The number of times there has been a refrigerated item put into the same bag next to a cardboard box of something non-perishable and then the condensation from the refrigerated item starts to get on the box and make it gross, is not zero.
