I had a fantastic experience at Albertson’s, starting with Debbie at the fresh deli. She was so kind and efficient, ensuring my order was perfect. Then, JJ, the manager at Albertson’s, took it even further—he’s organized, professional, and clearly dedicated to both his team and customers. Albertson’s is truly a gem, and with Debbie and JJ, every visit is a delight!

I’ve been a regular shopper at Albertsons for years and want to start by saying how much I appreciate this store overall. The layout is consistently well-organized, clean, and easy to navigate, which makes grocery shopping with kids much less stressful. The vast majority of the employees I’ve encountered here—and at other Albertsons locations—are genuinely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They go out of their way to assist, answer questions, and make customers feel valued. That level of service is one of the reasons I keep coming back. Unfortunately, I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at the self-checkout area on my most recent visit. One employee, Marta, was beyond rude and disrespectful. My EBT card’s magnetic strip was having problems (I have a new card on the way), and I politely asked for help swiping it or typing the number in manually—something this same store and several other Albertsons have done for me many times before without any issue. Instead of assisting or explaining any policy, Marta immediately accused me of writing my EBT card number on the card with a Sharpie and sarcastically called me a “master at calligraphy.” She then stated that she “knew how these cards worked” and that she “was not stupid,” implying I was attempting some kind of fraud or criminal activity. She offered no explanation, no reference to store policy, and no mention of recent fraud concerns—nothing civil or professional. The profiling and disrespect were shocking and completely uncalled for. I was left feeling attacked, slandered, insulted, and genuinely hurt by the way she spoke to me. I was so upset that I almost told her she was leaving my kids at home hungry, but I chose to calm down and simply go to another Albertsons location, where the staff helped me immediately with no problems. That contrast made Marta’s behavior stand out even more. I’m writing this review not to bash the entire store—because the rest of the team and the store itself deserve high marks—but to urge management to speak with Marta directly and provide her with additional customer-service training. Customers using EBT cards (or any form of assistance) should never be treated with suspicion or contempt, especially when the store has helped in the exact same situation many times before. A calm, respectful explanation of policy would have been appreciated and understood. The way this was handled was unnecessary and damaging. I hope Albertsons takes this feedback seriously and uses it as an opportunity to ensure every employee represents the positive standard the rest of the team already sets. I’ll continue shopping here because I truly value the store and the great employees who work there, but I also hope this kind of experience doesn’t happen to anyone else.

I give this particular grocery store a 5 star. Just because it is in the HooD. Just like me. By some miraculous devine intervention, they are still open, and have remained open since I was a kid. Like they say,"Only the strong survive!" I can respect a store that fights off thieves and that can hold their own ground.🤩😃😀😄. There produce is one of the best. Watermelon is almost always sweet and so r the apples and grapes. The only place I know where you could buy the king size jenni o ground turkey. Which I consider excellent.

TODAY WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE: 1 STAR BECAUSE OF SECURITY now everyone is human and for the indivuals who were working today in the am not only showed disrespect to the company as a whole but knowing how to manage or handle situations correctly should always be upheld to the highest degree possible so as human as I am best thing to do is shop and leave .
