  It was what I expected from a casino cafe. The prices and staff were great. The food was good. I'd eat there again. But it's nothing to write home about.

  I was really struggling with my food because of some sensory issues ( not because of the food itself). I had to send my food back twice and still was unable to eat the chicken. I was embarrassed and felt to bad. Justin our server was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make sure I got a dish I was able to eat. The first dish I ordered I have eaten at this restaurant several times it is my favorite but something was just off today. Justin was so patient and even told me “I don’t want you to be hungry “ I was able to get a sandwich I was very pleased with and it tasted amazing. I also want to say thank you to the cooks who kindly made my food for me Colton and Nathan. My family frequently stays weekends at Cactus Petes and the Desert Room is a staple in our visits. Seriously I have always had amazing service and I am really greatful for the kindness of this visit!!!!

  The difference in my experience between last year and this year are night and day. Last year it felt a little dirty. This year, very clean. They added new menu items. The Eggs Benedict and fajitas are incredible. Highly recommend. Unfortunately it does get a bit busy on some nights since it's the main food option.
