Unfortunately underwhelming. We ate here the first time yesterday, service was fine. Food was okay- potatoes were burnt to a crisp and food lacked flavor. Decided to try it again because we are staying at the M and have never had a bad experience here, thought (and hoped) it was just a one off. Unfortunately this morning's breakfast was even worse. Eggs Benedict had hollandaise sauce that was the consistency of jello and the meat was the thinnest sliver one one englich muffin and no meat on the other english muffin. Food took 40 minutes + to come out. My husband sked for over easy eggs and got over hard eggs. They do not offer white bread (how weird). Service was always fine and enviorment is fine, nothing fancy. Very unfortunate because breakfast was my favorite part of staying at the M and now it is definitely not.

My family has been going to the old restaurant for the six years that we’ve lived here. Whenever family visits that’s the one place they would want to go to for breakfast. We were told that the old restaurant near Anthony’s would be moving to another part of the casino. Well to our surprise, we learned that it was not the same restaurant. We were totally disappointed. First of all, the breakfast menu had very few options. Also, they offer a ham and cheese omelette of which there are only two cheese options (cheddar and American). I don’t eat meat so I asked for veggies instead of meat I was told that there would be an up charge. I ended up ordering the Emeril breakfast which was a typical American breakfast of which I gave my meat option to my son. The potatoes were very bland. The potatoes were the main reason I would go to the other restaurant. They were seasoned and crispy and they had a create your own omelette which offered many choices. With that being said, I won’t be going back for breakfast. Highly disappointed.

📋 Reservation DetailsGuest Name: Gary White (Reservation under Clara White)Date & Time: Wednesday, July 22nd at 6:30 PMParty Size: 4 people Subject: Disappointing First Experience – Hoping for Improvement My family and I have been looking forward to the opening of Meril at the M Resort for months. My son is a true food connoisseur and highly respects Emeril Lagasse's culinary reputation, so expectations were high for our dinner this past Wednesday. Unfortunately, the evening did not live up to the standard we anticipated. We want to highlight that the restaurant was incredibly busy, and our waiter was working hard. However, it was clear he was stretched too thin and had far too many tables to provide the level of service a venue like this demands. This is a management/staffing issue, not a reflection on his effort.A few specific areas that fell short: Drink Consistency: Our first round of drinks was excellent. However, the second round (an Espresso Martini and an Old Fashioned) was terrible. We had to send them back. To the staff's credit, they remade them correctly, but the initial inconsistency was surprising. Menu Availability: The kitchen was completely out of several items on the menu during peak dinner hours. The Food: This was the most underwhelming part of the night. The buttermilk chicken was served with far too much batter, was heavily overcooked, and the portion size was incredibly tiny. Additionally, the fettuccine was watery and lacked flavor. The rest of our dishes were just average, which doesn't align with the quality Emeril is famous for. Our total bill came out to $223. I am more than happy to pay premium prices for premium food and execution, but the quality of the meal we received does not match the price tag. Right now, there are far better options in the area for that price point. Constructive Suggestion: Moving forward, I highly recommend having someone in the kitchen dedicated to overseeing and quality-checking every single dish before it is served to the guests. This extra layer of supervision would prevent overcooked or poorly executed plates from leaving the kitchen window. We truly want to see this new location succeed and hope management takes this feedback to iron out these opening-phase issues.

this place is a mess. i would honestly be embarrassed to be emeril legasse and have my name attached to this restaurant. we were a party of 9 for breakfast, admittedly challenging to accommodate. however tables were being freed up and seated that could have been combined for our party and we ended up waiting a half hour for them to make a table for us that they could’ve offered in the first place. once we were seated, our server was pleasant enough. about 20m after our order had been taken, we were informed that they were out of grits. then at around the 40m mark, the food began coming out haphazardly after nearly an hour at the table. the runners had no idea which dishes went where, sides were brought out without entrees, some people got half their orders and continued to wait another 30m for the rest. i ordered the smoked mushroom omelette substituting grits for the potatoes and a side of the hot sausage. at some point a runner appeared with a side of sausage, before my main came out and i asked if it was hot sausage. his response: “i don’t know.” that’s it. it was not hot sausage and i was then informed that they didn’t have anymore hot sausage so rather than tell me they just decided to serve me something else. the omelette and it’s fillings were completely unseasoned—the mushrooms tasted as if they’d been sitting in an ashtray, and i guess “smoked” is the only flavor they felt was needed. i had sourdough toast with my breakfast and when i opened the mini jar of grape jelly, there was MOLD inside. so it took forever for the food to come, half of what i ordered wasn’t available and what i did get was bad. i just left the table after we’d been seated for over an hour and two people in our party were still waiting for their orders—the most basic of what’s offered on the menu, bacon and eggs. how are you waiting over an hour for bacon and eggs????? this places is on the level of an iHop, but without the iHop prices and the servers and kitchen at iHop are better and the food there is at least consistent. DO NOT GO HERE. it will be a complete waste of time and money. the kitchen has no idea what they’re doing, the serving staff have not been trained well and the entire operation is a disorganized disaster. the manager was ultimately very accommodating in the face of the overall experience and was willing to cut our bill significantly. but the food is bad and i wouldn’t recommend visiting until they have some time to get this operation sorted out.

A bit late for the review as we were here on 7/17 Friday lunch, their second day of opening. Very spacious and contemporary interior design, especially the seatings by the window overlooking M resort pool, which brings relaxation and vacation vibes. The staff were nice but not familiar with their menu or serving time. And the second we got seated (no wait as we made the reservation), we heard the next table guests complaining to the staff as they waited one hour, not sure for food or the check. We also witnessed the server brought the food back in the kitchen after looking at it, not sure what happened. We waited roughly 20 minutes for our server to come by, Another 20 minutes to order. After we ordered, the first thing brought to the table was the cocktail. Then another really long wait for our food to come, but we were not able to eat as there was NO utensil provided. Of course another while of wait just to get the utensils. We literally ate for 10 minutes and waited for more than one hour. The food was mediocre unfortunately. Nothing like what those influencers bragged about on social media. The only food item we liked is the street corn. And their lychee rose cocktail (substitute vodka to Rum) is really good, exotic and refreshing with great and rich flavor of lychee with charming floral notes. We got what the server highly recommended, crabs linguine and ribs plus other items. The crab linguine is a total disappointment. Really small portion like 3 bites at $28, can’t see any crabs and the only thing we can taste is tomato sauce. The ribs were ok and covered in sweet sauce. We also ordered burgers and pastry basket. Burger patty was not bad, but we ordered well done, and it came out pink meat. The pastry basket never came. At this point, we just wanted to leave. I would come back after 6 months to try their breakfast and hopefully everything goes on track. But my other friends were totally done with it after this experience.
