  I come here and get my iced coffee and breakfast at about 1/3 of the price of Starbucks. The drive-through employees are always so nice and sweet!

  The employees at this location really give it their all every time we visit. I have watched them gracefully deal with irate customers that are angry with them for things out of their control. Corporate really needs to step up and fix their lobby order screen and install a barrier so customers stop going behind the counter to try and get an employee’s attention. I watched this happen 3 times in one visit. This could be a safety issue. They need to have a front lobby person to solely address customer’s demanding needs. Also, grown adults who are deliberately unkind to these young and what appears to be underage employees, need to get a grip.

  Everyone knows mcd's prices are getting absurd. But to top it off, the service here is subpar.

  If you enjoy overpaying for food and receiving half empty fries and cold burgers then this your spot!! I keep saying I’m never going to this McDonald’s ever again but I seem to do it anyway about once a year and it’s always a disappointment. Either the soda machine doesn’t work or the ice cream machine or the milk shake machine. The staff is super slow and always seems confused. Furthermore when I roll through the drive thru and order nothing but a large fry, I expect it to be full of fries!! Never fails at this location the fry box is less than half full. Skip this place and go to Jack in the box. Also they never seem to have any airflow in the play place dining area. If you enjoy eating in stagnant hot air then the play place is recommended for you

  Pro Review: Food is same as always, but in ever-shrinking portions and increasing prices. Managers don't seem to know how to run a business: coffee is never ready, even in the morning. Breakfast STILL limited availability, discriminatory against hard-working graveshift workers, and at no real profit margin. Employees seem demoralized, following rigid store guidelines with slow service. One of the managers has an air of impatience (from the stress of the mid-management post, perhaps?). Machines, particularly ice cream are constantly breaking down with no schedule of when they will be fixed (unprofessional and incompetent). The inside has become so creepy, mechanized, and utterly devoid of joy. The restaurant no longer seems to welcome or encourage visitors. The walls, floors, and ceilings are all slate-gray with fixtures that scream "Efficiency! Modernity! Eclecticity!" ...but wind up serving no one in those regards. It's marvelous to consider how much real estate the Boulder City McDonald's takes up, the huge fee they had to pay to the city to operate, and yet how empty or their service lines are (if not plugged up in the drive-thru due to mixed-up orders)! The service is otherwise polite, and obedient to the corporate whim. The coffee is fresh and bitter when available. The bathrooms are unlocked, and the store is clean and supplied. They do still take cash! But as a business, McDonald's is in serious trouble, and should seriously consider going independent, whether as a franchise or via a structure such as employee-owned takeover startup. In fact, the irony of today's review is that I knew this location has become so poor at in-person service, I realized it was a good, quiet place to review while discussing other business! Hopefully, the business will learn to take proper risks and service its target market; rather than lumping customers into a universal corporate structure of inefficient hyper-efficiency. Thank you.
