  The drinks are pretty good, but the lack of ice cream is irritating. Tots are delicious but burgers are a little meh to be honest.

  This place SUCKS! just ordered food and the hotdog was hard as a rock, cold and tasted DISGUSTING. This place has really gone down hill and not to mention the amount of time it takes to wait for 2 items. RIDICULOUS!!!

  I went to the Sonic in Truth or Consequences with both of my parents, who use wheelchairs, in our van. After placing our order, I needed to transfer my mother into her wheelchair so she could use the restroom. The payment terminal at our stall was out of order, so an employee named Ashlyn came out to collect payment. While I was actively mid-transfer, trying to safely move my mother without her falling, the employee repeatedly demanded that I stop what I was doing to pay immediately, telling me to "hurry it up." Her total lack of empathy or patience during a delicate, safety-critical moment was appalling. Beyond the immediate safety risk, the interaction reflected a deeply hostile atmosphere marked by systemic prejudice, ageism, and ableism. The behavior of the staff made it clear that elderly, disabled, and non-white patrons are viewed as an inconvenience rather than customers deserving of basic respect and accessibility. This location clearly fosters an environment of marginalization and discriminatory bias. I strongly advise families, travelers with accessibility needs, and people of color to avoid this establishment and skip the town entirely. Hot Springs High School has failed in its diversity education of these folks. The Truth or Consequences Better Business Bureau has also failed.
