This was, without question, the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had.
I ordered dinner for my family through the Domino’s app and waited outside the store until the app showed my order as “Ready” (about 20–25 minutes). When I went inside to pick it up, a very rude employee couldn’t find my order in the system. I showed him the order confirmation in the app, and my name was even flashing on the store’s TV screen indicating the order was ready. Despite this, he repeatedly asked me for my order number and name.
After about five minutes, I was finally told that my pizza had never even been put in the oven. Seriously? I asked why both the app and the store display showed it as ready, and instead of apologizing, the employee responded, “You want your order or not?” He then told me I’d have to wait another 10–15 minutes.
I had no choice but to wait. It ended up taking about 20 more minutes before I received my order. Not once did anyone apologize. The same employee claimed, “I’m working alone in this store, what can I do?” Yet there were four or five employees working there the entire time.
Unfortunately, it got even worse.
When I got back to the hotel with my family and opened the pizza box, I discovered they had made the wrong pizza. We ordered a cheese thin-crust pizza, but the pizza was covered in pepperoni. Following the instructions in the app, I called the store multiple times, but no one answered the phone.
I had to drive all the way back to the store with the untouched pizza. The same employee actually asked me multiple times, “Is this pepperoni?” even while I was holding the pizza box open in front of him. It honestly seemed like he wasn’t paying attention at all.
He then told me I would have to wait another 10–15 minutes for a replacement. After waiting again, he handed me… the exact same pepperoni pizza that I had just returned.
At that point, my frustration was through the roof. Thankfully, another employee noticed what was happening, stepped in, and finally made sure I received the correct cheese thin-crust pizza after another 10 minutes of waiting.
The entire experience wasted well over an hour, involved two unnecessary trips to the store, and completely ruined what should have been a simple family dinner.
What made this even more concerning was that I wasn’t the only customer having problems. While I was there, several other customers were also complaining about incorrect orders and waiting more than 45 minutes after the app had already marked their orders as ready.
Mistakes happen. What is unacceptable is the complete lack of accountability, professionalism, communication, and even a basic apology. This store’s staff acted as though they were doing customers a favor instead of providing a service we had already paid for.
I will never return to this Domino’s location, I am sure that management is not taking these complaints seriously as I’ve read reviews from other customers about same issues and same rude employee who asks people to cancel the order because of his lethargic attitude.
