I am a local in Springer. Yesterday evening I called and placed a To Go Order, the lady told me it would be ready in 15 mins. I arrived about 17 mins after phone call and said girl told me my order would be done soon. I waited, for awhile, and even asked to order two lemonades while I wait. I was charged for my order and told by same girl my food would be ready in about 5 mins. It wasn't. I was there for almost a whole hour waiting for my order. She tried to send me away without the lemonades I ordered 45 mins earlier.
The customer service was unacceptable. The waitress/host was not overrun with customers at said time so I'm not sure why the communication on her end was minimal. My family and I will not be ordering from this establishment anymore. I'm not sure about anyone else, but I value the time I'm given. I certainly didn't expect my order to be done in 15 mins due to ordering for a family. However I do expect honesty when it comes to customer service. If it takes a half hour or whole hour to be done then please just say so. I would rather wait at my house than be ignored in your restaurant the entire time.

Attentive staff but food was not great. Not many choices in this small town

Pretty cool little place to stop and stretch the legs. Good parking in the area for larger RVs.

Stopped here during a road trip for a very belated breakfast. They actually use REAL eggs, not the powdered kind, for their menu so our scrambled eggs with cheese were AMAZING instead of the usual "meh" diner fare! 😱😍 10/10
The "HUGE French Toast" means not a single massive slice of French toast like we thought, but rather a massive PLATTER of 4 full slices of thick cut French toast lol. I'd say my girls could've split a platter, but my eldest was apparently starving and managed to scarf down her entire plate 🤣
Noticed the family style bathrooms have multiple toilets in each along with a real changing table, and they even had spare wipes. My kids are long since out of diapers, but my God the thoughtfulness of this establishment is outstanding! 💗
Service was leisurely and so incredibly pleasant.
New Mexico is weirdly sparse on places to sit down and establish between major cities, but if you're passing through I can't recommend this place enough. Phenomenal little restaurant!
I never leave reviews but this place was so awful, I felt compelled. I wish I could leave zero stars. This place smelled like a porta potty bc they said the sewer lines were broken. Fair enough. Stuff like that happens and is out of anyone’s control. We asked to sit outside bc of the terrible smell and got a stink eye which was crazy because how unappetizing to sit in a place that smells like that, I thought it would’ve been understandable especially after having a conversation about the situation. When the food came, a man helped bring out plates, who I assume worked in the kitchen, looking very sloppy which also gives me pause when I’m at a dining facility, especially given that the other employees looked unkept as well. The ick factor was just raising. My kids split entrees and no one ever brought an extra plate even after I asked. I ended up taking my too greasy patty melt off the metal tray and having my kids use that, my food just sat on the paper it was served on. The server never came out to check and when she finally did come back out and saw the situation, never apologized or even seemed to care. None of us finished our meals because no one like it, except for my son, who said the biscuits and gravy was decent. My burger was undercooked, which, given the entire odor of the place, sent me over the top and made it unable for me to finish. We waited for the bill for a bit and my husband went in to pay, when the server saw us standing up she asked if we were ready to pay, saying she never saw my husband go in and pay already. There was maybe only one other occupied table in the place at the time, for context. Overall a disgusting experience. And I think that’s too kind.
