Winery/restaurant 1 block off the square. They just updated thier seasonal menu on 5-18-26. We both had the new chili shrimp on polenta. Yum. And the bruchetta sampler, was a huge portion and delicious, possibly the best ever, the roasted grapes was a surprising favorite. House/winery wines were delicious and inexpensive. We also loved the Kiva (white port?) With the creme bruelle. We bought 2 bottles on the way out. Thank you Shannon for a wonderful and fun evening.

We mostly had the starters. The tuna tartare was delicious. The calamari was ok. I felt that the batter used to fry the calamari took away from the calamari flavor. The strawberry & watermelon salad was very good and refreshing. We had the creme brûlée which was delicious as well. The service was exceptional. Shannan was our server and was totally friendly and accommodating. The kitchen staff were also very kind. Would highly recommend.

It was amazing. Food, spot on my expectations. The steaks they give were amazing and I finished it under 5 minutes! The workers were nice and the chef? The best person I’ve met ever. He was great and nice and funny. I would really recommend this place for people visiting New Mexico. What an amazing place!!!

We waited 20 minutes at our table before being served despite two requests. Meanwhile others who had arrived arrived after were duly served their drinks and had orders taken. There does not appear a shortage of staff but a lot of hanging around. When we did get served by Shannon who was apologetic things improved as she was excellent. The food itself was very tasty although it would have been good to have received some explanation of how the wine and menu worked as we heard others receiving. It is a pity because this could have been a really enjoyable meal but was marred by the appalling beginning.

Booked a Mother’s Day reservation and was told the only available time was around 3 PM. When we arrived, the restaurant appeared maybe 20% full, which was surprising. The location itself is beautiful — bright, modern, and the upstairs seating looks like it would offer a quieter dining experience. Nice touch having both stairs and an elevator as well.
Unfortunately, the service really missed the mark compared to the experiences we’ve had at the Albuquerque and Alamogordo locations, both of which we’ve enjoyed many times. Our server wasn’t rude, but there was very little effort to create any kind of dining experience. Empty plates sat on the table, drinks stayed nearly empty, and overall it felt very transactional rather than welcoming or attentive. We even had to walk to the bar ourselves to purchase bottles of wine to go.
What made the experience even more disappointing was reading so many glowing Google reviews beforehand describing attentive service and memorable dining experiences. It honestly left us wondering why our visit felt so different.
For a meal over $250 on Mother’s Day, we expected a much more polished and memorable experience. Honestly, we’ve received warmer and more attentive service at casual chain restaurants. The food was still good overall, but even that felt slightly below the standard we’ve come to expect from the other locations.
That said, the restaurant itself has a lot of potential and because we’ve had such positive experiences at the other locations, we’ll likely give this one another try in the future hoping this visit was just an off day.
