  We had an outstanding first experience at Deccan Cafe in Santa Fe! We started with the calamari fritter, which was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside with great flavor. For our main course, we ordered the non-vegetarian platter, and we were amazed by the portion size. It was more than enough for my wife and me, and we still had plenty left over to take home for a late-night snack. Everything on the platter was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The real standout, though, was the customer service and mango lassi. I’ve had mango lassis at many Indian restaurants over the years, and this was hands down the best I’ve ever had. It was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced—not overly sweet. If you’re looking for authentic, delicious Indian cuisine with a warm smiling service in Santa Fe, I highly recommend Deccan Cafe. Great food, generous portions, and excellent value. We’ll definitely be back in a heartbeat!

  We had an absolutely amazing dining experience! The Chicken Korma was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, while the Lamb Tikka Masala was tender, perfectly spiced, and absolutely delicious.

  The lemon drink was just lemon squeezed into water with seeds in the bottom. We had to mix our own sugar into it which didn’t work because the liquid was cold and the sugar wouldn’t blend. When ordering samosas I asked if they were spicy and was told “Not at all”. I took a bite and my mouth was instantly on fire. They refunded us for the samosas. $10.82 for two sour lemon drinks.
