Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Fries were old and stale. Nothing was fresh. Burgers were dry. Bread was soggy.
Bathroom out of order. No pride in the company they work for. Corporate apparently doesn’t care as long as the dollar keeps coming.
Never again will I eat from this company.

Employees were arguing and came close to a physical altercation. Then kept arguing and walking in and out of the store felt extremely unsafe management did little to control employees. Food at this location is consistently bad with poor service needs immediate attention

You can thank Jackie for this. All she had to do was honor Skyler's word that he gave me you can refer to the picture below. I used to love Whataburger and I would sometimes drive all the way from Carlsbad just to eat here. But I came a few weeks ago to visit my aunt and I stopped on my way out of town and you guys talked me into making a donation to The military institute. You told me if I bought a drink and fries I would get a free Whataburger. So I went ahead and ordered more on top of what I already had. It was not put in my bag and I didn't realize until I was far out of town. I called and talked to the manager Schyler and he said not to worry he would take care of me next time I told him I didn't ever receipt but he said because of my story he know I wasn't lying because they don't always have those donations going on. So I made a donation and got screwed out of $15. I came back today to visit my aunt again so I thought I'd go ahead and get my meal that I was owed and Jackie who was very rude to me and acted like I was just trying to get some free food told me that I needed a receipt because Skyler was not there. She acted like I was stupid. If you want to make things right with me I will take this review down and continue business as usual. Otherwise you lost a customer who was willing to make a donation to The military institute. I think it's shameful that you guys are doing me the way you're doing me. Have a good day
I have added a screenshot to where I called your restaurant on April 3rd and if you will look that's the day you were trying to rip people off with your donation to The military institute. I'm going to let them know you stole my money too. I looked back through my bank statement but I must have paid cash. It's okay you can keep my $15 you've lost a customer that you've had since 1977.
And to all your customers all you have to do to make a Whataburger at home and buy the mustard at the grocery store. It tastes just the same. And you can bypass the poor service.
All this is because Jackie was so rude to me. She acted like I was after some free food. This will be the last you hear of me but I will keep this message going weekly I will just add some to it. I think it's terrible you take donations and then screw people out of the food that gave you the donations and then you won't even honor it. That's poor business.
