Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Finally, after another customer walked up and said he'd been waiting a while, the cashier turned and pulled his order out of pile of to-go bags sitting on the counter behind her. I decided to ask if mine was in there as well, and it was. My name was never called, I didn't know I had to be responsible to ask for it after it came off the service line and was set on a table behind the cashier to cool.... First Whataburger experience, and incredibly frustrating and disappointing...

This is the third time I have waited for an hour for my food on curbside and everytime I had to go inside and get the food myself and everytime they had it ready and it was just sitting getting cold. This last time it happened I told the girl I've been waiting for a while and she got my food and whispered to her coworker asking him how they missed my order and he said idk and they just laughed about it. She gave me food and all she said was "the drinks are behind you" she didnt even apologize or ask to remake my cold food and I had to look for my own drinks on the rack. I'm embarrassed that this is the third time this has happened to me but sadly my fiance loves whataburger so I have to get it for him but after this third time he has to get his own whataburger now. I also want to point out that each time this has happened it wasnt busy.

We walked in at 1:55 pm and walked out at 2:07 pm because there was only one person running a register and was to busy talking to a friend to wait on the three customers ahead of us. This is the second time this happend to us so I won't be back.
