Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- KMKimberley MezoAug 17, 20265.0The only place to go late night. I drive all the way from San Ysidro to get there shakes. VI love love love the Dr. Pepper Shake. Plus ther Hibiscus or Catus fruit teas. I love Wataburger food.

Until today, I ordered a single drink for curbside pickup and was waiting for 20 mins for ONE drink (it was not a special drink either it was a large unsweet tea.) When I went inside obviously frustrated staff acted like it was my fault and could care less, and the person manning the register just walked away as soon as I got in and turned his back away from me avoiding having to service a customer. The person that finally noticed me standing there made sure to hold back my cup until they saw my receipt, mind you I am a regular and come to this location multiple times a week. But it is procedure to confirm the order so that I understand and I pull up my receipt. I go to grab the cup and the employee assisting me accidentally was handing me 2 cups, I go to grab these cups not noticing he’s handing me 2 and he has the never to say “sir it’s only one drink you purchased take 1 cup.” WOW really now you remember my order!! And it’s your JOB to hand me a cup and make sure it’s 1 cup. I was in a rush to get back to work because I waited 20 mins for a drink….. You are responsible to make sure my order is given to me correctly and with timely courtesy. I was late back to work because of 1 stupid DRINK. You guys mess up and give me attitude? HORRIBLE location. Trash customer service. Really hate to be that customer but that was frankly ridiculous.

Not to mention the waste of money for poor food. Very disappointed 😞☹️ will recommend any and everyone to avoid this location.
- SVShawnk VigilJul 22, 20265.0Man o man does this place have great burgers or what? It doesn't look like fast food and it doesn't taste like fast food either. It's nice to get one of the thick shakes and a order of crispy fries too!! Try the banana shake before it's gone.
