This review is solely for the curb side pickup and delivery side of the store. With busy work schedules it’s nice to have delivery or curbside pickup as an option especially when it’s so close to your house. However, on just about every occasion but one, whenever we’ve used delivery or curbside pickup we have ALWAYS had missing items. Usually the staff is super understanding and try to correct it right away but it seems like there has been no improvement. It’s been like this for several months. Now on your digital receipt after receiving your items the customer service number goes to the Carlsbad location??? This is honestly pretty frustrating. In store shopping isn’t bad, that I would give five stars. If you don’t have all the kinks worked out in a certain service, maybe don’t provide it until you are sure it’ll be run smoothly?

The service at this store has been horrible every single time I go in. 4/6/26 The first time I went in; I couldn’t find an item that had a digital coupon. The grocery employee didn’t seem to care that I asked for help and they didn’t even know about their own advertised coupons. The second time 4/8/26 I went; I gathered my items and went to register one. The cashier was talking to the person at self check. I get ignored for 5 minutes or so. Then the guest service person yells at the person to get back to their check stand. I had mark downs that she scans at full price. The cashier seemed bothered that I had mark downs. I had the cashier scan my rewards card and she didn’t verify that it was entered. They finally get the price sorted out for me. I payed and my points were not added to my account.I go to the guest service counter where they supposedly added my points back. Mind you I was going to use my points for cheaper gas. I drove my car to the gas station; went inside and that’s went I noticed that my points weren’t added. I called the store and the employee named Marcos said he added the points and to talk to the gas station employees to fix it. I asked the gas station employees about the points and they told me that they had to fix it inside. At that point I was getting frustrated. I go back to the guest service counter and I tell them that my points were not added. At that point there was who I believe to be the assistant store director. His name is Daniel and he has mole on his face. I asked him if he was a manager and he told me yeah. I proceeded to give him feedback that the service is horrible and he he just laughed at me. I then told him that I was an employee of the company and then he threatened me by saying that he knows where I work now. I then just walk away thinking the interaction was over. I told him that I knew where he worked also and that I was going to call HR. Which I did. Unbeknownst to me, Daniel, started to follow me out of the store and got in my face telling me what was I going to do about it. I had to push him out of my face and told him that I wasn’t scared of him or anyone in that store. He was rude, disrespectful and ungrateful for my feedback. Once again I thought the interaction was over I stopped paying attention to him. I then walked back to the gas station and I was bewildered about what just happened. When I go inside the gas station Daniel was inside. The weirdo and creep followed me out the store. Something they teach not to do. They accepted my points. I filled up and left. The third time I go 5/7/26 I had my prescriptions sent to the pharmacy there. I go to pick up my prescription and the pharmacist, not a tech or assistant, asks for my information. I proceed and give her my details. She then tells me that my information was incorrect. I use GoodRx and she told me that my birth date was wrong and that I had to call them. I proceeded to call GoodRx and they verified with me that my information was correct. She then finally gets on the phone with GoodRx support and she realized that she made a typo. The whole time the pharmacist was making it sound like it was my fault the information was wrong. The service here is horrible and they pride themselves of being the premier Albertsons store.
Edit: I will reach out to you. It better not be Dan Szuch that contacts me or Daniel. This is a corporate issue; it is unacceptable behavior and disciplinary action needs to be taken against your so called “assistant store director”.

My family and I really like coming to this store for our shopping needs. We also really love the hot food section particularly the fridge rice and noodle place. When Market Street first opened the food was a great quality and came out fast but lately it has been in the decline. The noodle place was our favorite but it seems like 6/10 we actually get what we order. It's getting ridiculous. They are always out of something. The grocery side is a 10/10. The food court 6/10 everytime.

I really want to like this store. The location is good & they have a fun selection of things you cant find at other stores BUT with the amount of rotten food we've seen while shopping and have accidentally bought, I'm annoyed, angry and disgusted. Groceries are expensive and we shouldn't have to worry about buying spoiled food. Today my brand new coffee creamer that is still in date was sour. We've bought in date milk that ended up chunky when we opened it, we bought buns that were in date and had mold growing on them. I was shopping for bereavement groceries for a friend & the refrigerated summer sausages were literally green!! Thankfully that was noticeable enough not to buy it first. Im not sure if their refrigeration isnt up to par or if they put things back in the fridge once lazy customers leave them on the shelves for far too long but theres no excuse for trying to sell that to your customers and especially at the increased prices because you're a "gourmet grocery store".

I come here for starbucks now no other locations both ladies here toni and Ella are the best employees i Have seen in a very long time. I Almost want to recruit them to my retail company AND PAY THEM MORE LOL besides the outstanding customer service, these ladies provide to this Starbucks location. The market street grocery store is very well organized. Clean, most importantly, safe for the customers and they do acknowledge you if you're walking through the store. This is the best Starbucks and the best grocery market in town. Thank you, management team.
