  This is the closest grocery store to my house, but it isn’t where I usually go. I do shop here when I just need a couple things or if I’m pressed for time. I feel really frustrated, however, with the amount of foods that I end up buying that are expired. This week I came home with milk that literally had white chunks floating in it. I also bought a bar of chocolate that had been expired for months and tasted like chalk. The week before it was expired yogurt that was also lumpy. This has happened to me before and I vow never to go back, but then some time goes by and I’m in a rush. I get seduced by the convenience of the location, but then I end up regretting it. I’ve never experienced anything like this at any other grocery store I’ve been to.

  I drive out of my way to shop at this Rio Rancho location (Store 903), but last Friday, August 21, 2026, was my last visit. The Albertsons Market app crashed and logged me out in-store, so I couldn't access a clipped coupon for $1 off x2 Smithfield lunch meat ($2 total savings). At self-checkout, I asked Dominic to honor the $2 discount due to the app outage. He completely ignored the fact that the app was broken and insisted that I show it to him on my phone. The manager, Sylvianna, was just as unhelpful, making excuses about a corporate system update from the beginning of 2026 instead of fixing the issue. It is pathetic that this store would rather lose a loyal customer and an entire cart of groceries over a $2 app glitch. I left all my groceries behind and will take my business to a supermarket that actually values customer service.

  If you see the rotisserie chicken running low, shouldn’t you throw them in to cook then and not wait until they are completely out? I went up to ask when about a they would be ready (as I’ve been wandering an hour waiting) the man at the counter said they were bagging them up now and would be out in 5 minutes. Meaning instead of making me wait he could have just grabbed one that was being bagged. Poor customer service. It’s been 5 minutes and they still aren’t out
