The place was great. It was tiny inside but it was shady and breezy outside so no complaints. The food was good. The chicken was delicious. The burger was incredible and the chilli-cheese fries did not look appealing but were so good!!! The kids tenders were also chicken breast and had a great flavor, as did the fries. The brisket was lacking something, not sure what and I think same for the Mac and cheese. But overall, 10 out of 10. Would absolutely come back the food was good, the service was great and the prices are very reasonable!.

Went for the first time and it was great! Since the beginning owner and the staff were so welcoming and really cool. They made us smile and laugh alot (mind you my sister and I are super shy and introverted, but we had a really good time). The food was awesome! I'm really picky when it comes to bbq sauces but Smokey Sensations home made BBQ sauce is in a whole new level! I would rate the cowboy burger as one of the top 3 best quality I've had in my life. The mango habanero wings were rich in flavor and delicious as well. The chicken tasted great! The portions were really generous. My sister and I shared the 2 meals and it was enough for both of us, but for sure next time I'll get a whole burger for myself. I would drive back all the way from El Paso to come here again. 100% worth it!

Unfortunately going to have to give a poor review for food quality and resolution. My wife decided she wanted BBQ for her Mother's Day lunch. I decided on the Dino ribs, $36 a pound was posted as a special. It takes a lot for me to complain about food, I am easy to please. The meat was dry, all the fat rendered out. I have had better beef jerky. A huge chunk of my rib meat was inedible and so hard it was basically a piece of charcoal. In my video you can hear me clinking it on my plate and then hear the crunch when I squeeze it. Before leaving we brought it to the counter helps attention. Chris the owner had just left and she called him. They offered me a free piece of Dubia Cake is all they could do for me. So I paid $47.00 for charcoal. Besides the ribs, my beans tasted like they were from a can, with some sausage added to glam it up a bit. The Mac and cheese was decent, nothing to rave about. The rest of the food was all right again nothing spectacular. Pretty big let down for spending close to $100 for four people. I really wanted to like this place, I always choose mom and pop places over big chain places. The owners story is also a good one. Just very disappointed in our experience and unfortunately will not return. Going down the road to Anthony next time we want BBQ. Chris maybe had you been there and seen how bad this was you might have done a bit more than a piece of cake. This should never had been plated, I get food costs and this economy but you basically lost a returning customer that would easily drop $100 every visit a few times a month. Talk to your kitchen and have them do better.

If you are looking for some awesomely flavored food, this is definitely the place to go. I have been here before and it never disappoints. I'm having the Korean style ribs with a side if potato salad, and O M GOD!!!!! This is delicious. Potato salad is very creamy and chunky with a hint of a smoky flavor, and bacon. I cannot even explain the goodness of the ribs, sweet and spicy and everything nicely. Thank you Smokey Sensations for brining this comfort food to my neck of the woods.

A fun stop between El Paso and White sands national park was Smokey sensations! A nice hole in the wall with a pleasant patio area. It was super windy that day but still a beautiful day outside. The food was delicious. Brisket was ok - not a big fan of dousing brisket with sauce. We went with the chef’s recommendation to try the Dino ribs. It was good - a little high $ but tasty nonetheless. The Parmesan garlic fries were the favorite part of the meal! Fresh garlic and parm made all the difference when past experiences with parm garlic fries disappointed when they arrived with sprinkle seasoning. Smokey’s does it right!!
Glad to happen upon it on vacay!
