The menue has many choices, so I chose a favotite, pot roast and vegetables and a wedge salad, the order looked like someone was in a hurry, the roast was tough and dry, the mashed potatoes were runny and the grave was also runny and no flavor. The wedge had floppy lettuce and minimal blue cheese crumbles. However the blue cheese dressing was so tasty and flavorful and when I asked for wine vinegar, they actually gave me wine vinegar, I didn't have to go thru the regular malarkey, I usually have to go thru when I ask for wine vinegar. So being that the servers knew what wine vinegar is and the Bleu cheese was on point I think maybe it was an off day and I may give the place one more attempt.

Gatsby's is a special restaurant. We have eaten here twice. Last evening the kitchen cooked up a plank roasted salmon dinner. My wedge was perfect. My wife ordered shrimp đŸ€ and grits Delectable. My low marks on atmosphere, is one of personal taste. I don't care for your art choices. The I do appreciate the beautiful faux trees that are streetwise. I will return. Your kitchen is đŸ”„ fire.

Was not great. Too bad too, we were really looking forward to trying this place. I mentioned that my mashed potatoes didn’t have any salt, so they took half off the appetizer, which was nice. Staff are nice, but food was not worth the price, and even if it was cheaper, I would not recommend. Edit: owner indicates they remove salt to cater to older guests. Seems like a strange business practice to assume all guests want salt free potatoes. Also, the $44 prime rib and au jus was overwhelming salty.

The service was good. Wait time for food was expected based on what we ordered. My wife got a steak. Cooked to perfection and huge. Her sides were very flavorful and seasoned well. As for mine, I got the duck and the mushroom risotto with red peppers. The duck came with perfectly cooked cabbage and a cherry sauce that was too much in amount and flavor. The duck was bland not flavorful and the risotto had peppers and mushrooms and tons of cheese but lacked seasoning. I had wanted the Parmesan fries but the waiter said they were not gluten free, while the menu said they could be made gluten friendly. Not sure where the disconnect is there. I would go back to try the fries if someone knew if they were or could be made gluten free. My wife would go back for the steak.

Visited Gatsby's for the first time for our 39th wedding anniversary. Enjoyed fast seating at a nice table and were immediately welcomed by our server Mike. We ordered the Bellini flight (exceptional) a beer and water came with it automatically. For starter we shared the Seafood Cakes (2 large cakes) and they had chunks of crab, lobster and crab legs with amazingly balanced seasoning and a nice "Gourmaise style" sauce. My wife ordered the Duck Confit and I went for the Surf and Turf (small steak and Tiger Shrimp) we both had the Gatsby Salad and the mushroom risotto. The salads were fresh and tasty with a home made vinaigrette and butter lettuce. The Duck Confit was soft and Tender (could have used a bit more red cabbage) but the risotto was on point with nice mushroom chunks and good umami flavor. The shrimp were cooked perfectly but the steak was way overdone. They remade the steak in no time and offered a free dessert for the trouble (very professional). We had the Waffle bread pudding with ice cream and it was divine. Definitely undersold and overdelivered on that one. All in all a wonderful meal in an inviting atmosphere. We enjoyed our evening and will be back. For sure!
