  Disappointing experience. We have been here many times and always thought the food and service to be excellent. My wife and I left, asking ourselves what has happened to our favorite restaurant in Las Cruces. Upon entering the restaurant (6:00pm on a Saturday night) there was no one to greet us. After a few minutes someone arrived to seat us. We saw only two other guests (what's going on?). Our waiter arrived but was not very personable and seemed a bit nervous. Perhaps his first night serving on his own? Our food finally arrived but was nothing spectacular like we've had on other occasions. We were disappointed, to say the least.

  As a fan of Bite of Belgium I’ve been intrigued for some time now to give the evening offerings a try. I was expecting nothing but the best, but left rather disappointed. The service was alright. Nothing too noteworthy and nothing too terrible. Just felt slow for it being like 4 active tables. The food, for me, was hit or miss. Cheese Curds. Amazing. Cesar salads. Good. But that’s the extent of the positives. My wife got the Pasta Primavera, which was mostly flavorless and spicy. I got the lobster fettuccine, which I guess for being in the middle of the desert I shouldn’t expect anything great. But whatever they are using for lobster is something I’ve never seen. Lobster is either tender and shredded. And you can visibly see its lobster. This lobster was like balled chunks and felt compressed. Was it imitation lobster? Probably. I also got the bao tacos and the meat was way too tough for what you would expect. And to conclude the night, we got the crème brûlée. And they didn’t even bother making the top of that sugar coating anywhere you’d expect it to be. Super disappointed, especially for that price. I’ll stick to breakfast operating hours.

  My wife really liked the ravioli but I thought the pot roast was just okay (the best part of the meal was the mashed potatoes). Maybe we'll try it again, but it's pretty pricey for what you get.

  Let me save you $30. Do not buy the 20 oz Prime Ribeye. It was very appealing to look at and was very large ..... It lacked all flavor. I do mean all flavor, my wife and I barely tasted the butter that was placed on top. It didn't even come with a side of sauce to cover it up. I really can not emphasize enough how little flavor there was. The pork chops were very tasty, small but very delicious.

  First and last time here. Haven’t ate the food yet, so reviewing purely on my interaction with staff. I realized my side salad was missing when I got home, called them to let them know, and was told “would you like to come back for it?” I got zero apology until I said it’s an inconvenience to have to go back and get it. When I arrived I was not greeted or apologized to just told “here’s your salad. My manager threw in extras for you.” The action that lost my business forever was a note in the bag saying “please check your order before leaving the parking lot. Management will not be responsible for missing items” which was not in my original bag mind you. Oh, and the salad still came with the wrong dressing.
