Highly recommend this wonderful winery/bistro! Five stars. Our server Mia was not only top notch, friendly knew the menu items inside and out and made wonderful recommendations. She was most delightful and truly contributed to our wonderful experience. We are from the Pacific NW and had many questions about the menu and we ordered per her recommendations. Food was delicious!!! I hope when you go you’re lucky and get Mia for your server. We did interact also with Miquel who was also a delight. It’s a great reflection that Lescombes Prioritizes excellent customer service and high quality food. Thank you Lescombes!

We appreciated having the option of ordering small plates for a very reasonable price, but if a restaurant wants to advertise vegetarian and gluten free options, then I expect them to not be as limited as the ones LesCombes offers. I had chicken salad on a bed of lettuce, but it left me hungry. I asked for bread or a roll, but there was not gluten free bread available. The atmosphere is nice enough, but the choice is between very dark rooms, or a glass enclosed room that is very noisy. The mountain views advertised are no more than a limited distant peek.

What a hidden gem in the southwest part of Las Cruses this place is. DH Lescombes Winery and Bistro is a great place to stop for wine and dinner. I visited with a group and we enjoyed a wide selection of items. For appetizers we got the calamari and brussel sprouts… the sauce/glaze on the brussel sprouts is to die for. It’s literally the nectar of the gods. (Just a side note, I didn’t get to take a pic of the brussel sprouts until there was like only 2 left) For entrees we enjoyed the Pecan Pesto Pasta with Chicken, Chicken Parmesan, Southwest Meatloaf, Country Pot Roast, and the Blackened Rainbow Trout. All the entrees were enjoyed. It’s nice when a winery also has a good kitchen to match! With respect to wine, the cab-sangio was given as a free taste test. All together we ordered the signature white whine flight, minimal intervention wine flight, and the custom wine flight (canyon five, serenade, black muscat, and the Malvasia reisling). I had the custom wine flight with the listed wines and I have to say that I loved all of them. I tend to go for sweet white wines but I must admit that Serenade (sweet red) and the Black Muscat (sweet rose) wines were my favorites. I ended up buying a bottle of the Serenade, Canyon five, and Black muscat to take home! Our server was nice, knowledgeable, and attentive with clearing finished wine cups and dishes. The atmosphere is also very nice at dinner time. I very much appreciate the lighting and the real pothos plants they have hanging from the ceiling. All around amazing experience, easy 5 star experience, I would absolutely come back!

What a gem! For wine lovers and foodies alike. We were welcomed and shown to our table almost immediately (even though it was a busy Friday evening). Amber attended to us and brought a wealth of knowledge and an infectious effervescent flair to our experience. She quickly gained an understanding of the types of wine we liked and guided us toward wines that would suit our palettes while also encouraging us to try things outside our usual pickings. The wine was INCREDIBLE, the food was DELICIOUS! Do not skip on the hummus and feta appetizer. From bubbly’s to reds - nothing disappointed.

My husband and I ate here tonight between 6pm-8pm. We ordered the fish n chips, schnitzel that came with green beans & mash potatoes, for dessert we ordered the creme brulee, chocolate torte. I thought the happy hour dog-friendly event was at this location, but it turned out to be in ABQ, not LC—my mistake. They were kind enough to offer us complimentary pinot grigio anyway which was so tasty and refreshing. First off, everything was absolutely delicious. The fish n chips was so good it reminded us of eating the same dish in London. The batter was perfectly crispy, fish was juicy, the fries were also crisped to perfection. The schnitzel was incredible. The breading was also so crispy, juicy, and it came with a delicious garlicy, mushroom, lemony sauce. The green beans & mash potatoes were also devine. My husband thought the chocolate torte was the best he'd ever had. I also loved my creme brulee. Our server was Celeste. She was very personable but would disappear for large periods of time. We wish she would have been more attentive. Maybe it was because we ate on the patio and she was busy with tables inside. Lastly, they allow you to bring your dogs out on the patio which is so nice. For anyone that does this, please don't be that person that doesn't pick up their dogs poop. There was a man who let his chihuahua mix poop right next to our table as we were trying to enjoy our wine. He was so rude and didn't bother to pick it up. That really ruined the romantic mood.
