Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Jessica, the manager, truly went above and beyond for my family and me. We started out having a really disappointing experience. Our meals were made incorrectly, and we couldn't get anyone to help us fix the situation. We left feeling frustrated and unheard.
Everything changed when we met Jessica. She treated us with kindness, listened to our concerns, and immediately took ownership of the situation. She didn't just correct our order. she completely turned our experience around. Her professionalism, compassion, and genuine care reminded us how much one person can make a difference.
Jessica is the reason we will be coming back. Great customer service like hers is hard to find, and she deserves to be recognized for the incredible job she does. Thank you, Jessica, for taking care of my family and making us feel like valued customers. You truly made a lasting impression.

Preston was super rude at the night shift on 6/30/26. Being passive aggressive with my friend and I talking loud enough for us to hear through the drive thru window that was open. Saying we kept changing our order when we didn’t. They had kept asking us to repeat it since their computers went down. Him and another native woman were just having horrible customer service and attitude in general. Won’t be coming here again especially with individuals like this working there.

Came in Saturday 10:15am 27th walked in and was rudely approached by an employee she was tall she had glasses and crazy hair. Told us there was a 15min wait before they could do anything. She said it in a very rude tone and needs a refresher in customer service. I would have waited but after her attitude I wanted to go somewhere else. I come here alot new girl needs to learn how to communicate with adults.

Alonzo provided top notch customer service. He was pleasant and attentive while waiting on me. He didn't even have to say, "My pleasure" his smile was enough. The food arrived to my table hot and delicious! The dining area was very cool in the hot temperatures. The women's bathroom is in need of some attention, however I arrived after the lunch rush.

The food is delicious I always love the Burgers . But today I ordered the chicken biscuit and it was delicious too. The service was ok but the Lady Sam that took my order was kinda rude . No hello no smile no care of customer service wow what a mess. I asked about the apple pie and just responded with, “we don’t have any .” Didn’t even suggest anything else . And no thank you . Need better customer service . And it was not even busy yet I was the only customer inside too lol.
